Very impressive graphics even if it was full mobile game.

WOW that game is really good, well done! impressive idea, and I enjoyed playing. The only problem was that it was tooooo buggy with frame drops every few seconds.

This game was extremely fun and has a high replayable factor!

Really fun entry, couldn't get past 9 deliveries, but enjoyed. Art and sfx/music are great and game overall feels super polished, good job! :)

Daaamn this one is juicy as! So much polish. Love the music and visual design. That chunky cannon is so cool makes me think this should be a raiden like shmup with big bosses and stuff. Just how the whole truck rocks back after the shot feels so good!

I believe the UPS and other guys already have delivery guys throw the packages in astonishing force, so this is naturally the next step of evolution :package:

- Graphics are great
- Like the effects and animations of motion
- Gameplay feels rewarding
- The Difficulty is scoped more for a FPS kinda player rather than someone with strategic mind, hence the arcade feeling. I play a lot of FPS games so didn't have that much of an issue
- Music is cool!

Overall feels polished and have a nice replayable factor. Great job!

If the stuff from the other games you made was made by yourself, then there's no problem in putting the game into COMPO. All the stuff you made before can be use to your advantage, as long as you can prove that you actually did it yourself before :smile: . A lot of COMPO folks use their old code and assets from previous entries to boost their effectiveness. You don't want to create the same UI system over and over again for example :muscle:

So many good things in this game! Love the smooth camera movements. The shooter + subway surf gameplay was also great! Some crazy good music. Very nice graphics as well! I wish there is an explosion effect hitting the mailboxes, but I guess that will take away from the theme. Overall great entry!

Best one yet! I am super impressed with the game feel provided! The only gripe was aiming was relative to car velocity or something? I had to aim well in-front of the mailbox, which felt a little hard to grasp initially. The sound design and music were on-point, and the visuals sold it! Loved the painted style for the scrolling environment and objects. The objective was clear and concise. Didn't get too far in the game, but what I saw I liked a lot. Thanks!

Love the UI, great effects in general; had some trouble aiming the packages, but hey that's probably a skill issue!

Fast paced, shoot quick, deliver package. Pretty solid

Super fun game! I enjoyed having to split my attention between dodging obstacles and shooting packages. It's very engaging. One issue I noticed was that I never felt incentivized to use either boost or brake. There's no penalty for not hitting a mailbox, and there's no reward for speeding up. The game was still super fun without them, but with the right incentives to use them, it could be even more fun!

I did wish that hitboxes were a bit bigger, 'cause Im not very good at aiming, especially while driving (pretty sure it an illigal thing to do). Plus because of my bad aim I frequently ran out of gus without finding one fuel tank, which was quite frustrating.

Still, it was very fast paced, energetic and ultimately cool experience. Great entry!

There isn't really any difficulty in this game, it's just really annoying because of aiming on these mailboxes.

very impressive game, amazingly well-polished! really like all the juicy graphics stuff that's happening there combined with the sfx. although once you get good at it there's not much challenge left, i see it as this game could be expanded with more road lines and with different random events happening from time to time that would gradually increase difficulty

Simple, but actually very fun to play. Everything feels quite polished and nice to handle. To take it to next level there needs to be some extra aspect to the game, or maybe just more varied obstacles.

It's the whole package, great combination of gameplay, graphics and audio. Keeping your eyes on two things is stressful but rewarding when you get in the flow and it feels great when you just manage to pick up fuel in time.

Awesome overall feel! One thing from the side of gameplay is that I found myself just always holding the brake down - it slows the game down and running out of fuel is never a problem. It would be nice if you could find a way to fix it :smile:

This one is juicy !!! I'm really taking jam lessons from this one design-wise. Even though the gameplay is simple, the color code makes it simple to understand at a glance, the audio and visual feedbacks also are on point ! Great Job !

This one was fun. Got a high score of 70. Gets really challenging to just stay alive after a while, let alone hit a mailbox. Graphics, sound, and design were all really polished. Nice work!

The soudtrack is awesome! I liked the overall energy of the game. The game could be expanded with special events like moving mailbox, special mailboxes or packages worth more points, bonuses like slow-mo or packages with a seeker head. What if this was a roguelite, with a full game loop, bosses, different pathes between levels etc ... Great submission!

This game made me laugh, the idea of delivering packages by cannon would explain why I often receive damaged orders. The beat of the music makes me want to deliver the packages in rhythm for a good while. Great job!

I had the idea of using the packages as projectiles too, but we went with another concept in the end :smile:

This is a very unique take on the theme! The game is very well polished and smooth, the graphics were also amazing! It is also really hard and I love that, having to balance between aiming while dodging the road obstacles made a nice addition for difficulty, with my aim being as bad as a grandpa wielding a tv remote it added to the fun because I would constantly miss the packages which just made it harder! Overall this is a very polished and well made game, I can tell you put a lot of work into it! Keep up the good work!

Super clean and juicy. I don't really know why you wouldn't brake at all time though. Beside once or twice when I had to speed up between a barrier and a car. Nice art, nice design, nice audio. Stunningly polished for a solo in 48h. Great job !

TIL how fun it is to drive a weaponized truck barreling down the road delivering mail! The graphics are solid, and the gameplay addicting.

Simple concept but works well, I found it hard to hit the damn mailboxes (I think some are kinda far away?) and the packages feel a bit slow when fired.

That said, was pretty fun, the fact that you have to look away to aim while having to dodge obstacles on the road is pretty interesting... Eyes on the road people!

Fun and well-thought-out concept. It was approachable and easy enough to play on a laptop. It was also clear what was happening with holding the mouse to charge up the shots. My best score was 18.

Great feeling game, very polished! The only thing I could find that I didn't like was trying to change back and forth between lanes, it would eat your input if its too fast. Its a really minor issue though because you aren't really moving around that fast that you need to change lanes that frequently. Seriously great work with this game!

You did really great on this! I had a lot of fun playing this. You took really good care to make a consistently fun and challenging game loop. Your graphics are good, your physics are good, audio is good! This was very well rounded and I found myself playing several times to try and beat my high score.

Simple, polished, and addictive. This is a really fun take on the delivery theme. It's well designed - the car's velocity influencing the package's means you have to take your eyes off the road to deliver the packages effectively. Very well done. As others have said, this wouldn't look out of place as is in an app store.

The idea seemed great to me and the mechanics even more so. I really liked the combination of 3d and 2d art, they gave it a very good touch. The music bothered me at first, but as the game progresses and it gets more and more frantic and that sound is perfectly justified. Great job! congratulations! xD

Top-notch game, could honestly just be released on mobile as is, that's how polished it felt. One thing I found interesting was that while there is an incentive to boost, there's no incentive to not brake.

Being the coward I am (and I know I'm not alone), there was nothing stopping me from braking the entire run and getting a 1x score on my deliveries and just playing longer. If, for example fuel drained faster when braking too, that would make brake less. Just thought that was worth noting.

As many have stated, the game has great polish and is fun to play. I really like the visual and auditory feedback that each pick up and successful mailbox hit creates.

Really fun and interesting mashup of game mechanics. Personally I found the shooting part less fun as the charging and aiming were at odds with the fast paced driving part, so I wonder if a simplified shooting mechanic would work better - for example, fixed power, one or two button shooting without aiming. But with the right level design I think it could be made to work well too. Music is top notch, cool eurobeats.

Great game, took me a while to get used to it, and I was wondering what the point of a "boost" was. Once I figured it out, I got a high score of 55 using the sudden boost strategy every time I shot a parcel. Pretty satisfying to play.

Submitting an arcade style game is pretty creative, and it increases playtime and replayability without having to make custom levels.
On that note, this game is super replayable. I can definitely picture this being a super popular mobile game.

As was mentioned before, I think breaking should also consume fuel. Tbh, before I read that comment I thought it DID consume extra fuel, and avoided braking.

The art is pleasing, and the UI is fine though maybe the fuel meter could use some work?

Lots of juice in this one. The shooting part is a little frustrating but a hit is very satisfying. I appreciate that you had two different music tracks, one for after you crash and the main theme. A very solid entry all in all.
