Fun little Godot submission! Had some trouble at first sneaking around, and I never like helping the confederacy :P, but cool game!

Took me some time to figure out the mechanics of how to sneak past the guards, does "not sneaking" have any impact or effect at all? Because I saw no reason to ever let go the 's' key.

Maybe if you make the character move a little slower while sneaking it would already make a huge impact in gameplay and increase the depth of the choice of when to sneak or not.

Also, when you die on the last screen the game freezes for me, I had to reload the page and start again every time.

@lex - OOPS, forgot to copy-paste my checkpoint code into that last level, and I probably should have punished sneaking the whole time. Thanks!

I'm honestly having trouble getting past the first person.

If I walk by normally or Wohle sneaking. They always see me immediately.
The "danger meter" also always just shoots up instantly.

Am I missing something? I really want to see the rest of the game and give it a proper rating.

@theguy - The danger meter just counts up till !!RUN!! then you die. It goes down when you aren't in a certain area around a person. The game is mostly about letting the danger meter recharge. Being seen is not the end of the world. Hope you can fully experience the game!

So I tried it in Chrome and there it worked as intended I suppose. There I could get past the guards. For some reason in Firefox the meters goes up extremely quickly. So there is no chance of actually passing anybody at all.

After finding that out it was quite fun! For some reason I didn't get a time at the end, but other than that nice game!

I like the simple art style! I had some problems to understand how this game works and as someone else mentioned, there doesn't seem to be a reason to never use the 's' key.

this was a fun entry, I was confused at first about what I should do, I kept getting shot no matter what, then I realized that you have to wait until they lose you to move past them again, the idea is simple but interesting, I feel like the black and white colors add to the depressing vibe of the game, good work! also try to rate other games next time so your game is recommended more to people
