3 Spots Castle

Overall nice game. Some feedback I would have is that placing the buildings felt somewhat laggy and also the castle when shooting arrows missed the target. Apart from that though, well done!

Its a nice game, but the audio is not too good, but also the graphics sometimes didn't line up and the aim of the game was unclear at the start. Well done for your first Jam.

A nice short version for a potentially large strategy game. I love the mechanics between units. The art and music can be improved a bit. But overall well done!

This was a nice short and sweet strategy game. It was a little confusing why the horses were getting leveled and it seemed that the best strategy was to just have two archers and one soldier. Good job. Looking forward to playing future games of yours.

My horses were getting slaughtered by their arches at one point, so the instruction that they were a good counter didn't seem accurate. I followed MrTroy's suggestion of 1 soldier + 2 archers and that made things much easier. There never seemed to be a need to drop the market.

The art is on the *programmer art* side of the scale, but everything was clear and the graphics didn't confuse me (perhaps the arrows could've been a little thicker), so I consider the art well enough executed!

Solid concept, might do with some rebalancing, but well done!

I really love this game. Although the art is unmature, there are lots of inspiration insides games, which is the main purpose of the gamejam. The system is quite simple and easy to start. I think more types of buildings, types of way that could destroy others' castle is the key to make it more funny. PS: there is a bit unbalance if player build three arches, The archer is too strong.

I think the space is a bit too limited -- I felt like there weren't enough options to explore to get the hang of a strategy (you basically can't use the market once there are enough enemies, so the choice really became horse + archer or soldier + 2 archers).

Good concept though!

I really like the slow ramp up at the start, with you seeing the enemies before you can place a barracks. Its sort of like a baked in tutorial but super unobstrusive. I was a bit disappointed that horses are so weak, maybe two slots for them is a bit much. Once some archers get stacked the enemy cant do much. Very nice autobattler you build there! Well done!

This was pretty fun. The concept was good. I initially didn't know that I should scroll to the right to see who I'm battling. Maybe a minimap would've been good for this, or some other alt indicator of what's going on off-screen. I ran into a bug while trying to place the market when there are other items. Well, I just didn't know to right-click to cancel. Needs some polish and tuning, but fun TD game overall.

I had fun playing this. I think the horses should be a little stronger since they are taking up two slots. Also, I think it might be nice if the market was only 1 slot and provided less money. It's too risky to have a market for long when it takes up 2 slots.

The most beautiful moon I've ever seen. :heart: :P Interesting take on the theme though, well done. I just wish there was more I could have spent my money on. :D Pretty soon I felt like horses + archers were the best approach for the situation, and then could just wait and watch. Don't quite get why I lost though, suddenly my base dropped from 400 to 0 in a matter of seconds while I thought I was doing pretty well for myself.
