Unfortunately didn't have the time to add a tutorial in game, or polish or create content, so here is a quick how to play.
How to play:
WASD to move
Left mouse to use item in inventory
Right mouse to discard
You can only have 1 of each item active, but using an item when there's 3 copies of it in the inventory will upgrade it in the active weapon
