Shiny things. They allure you. You want to have more shiny things! It's in your goblin nature! While out and about one night, you stumble upon the tent of a mage. Surely there would be many valuables inside! You sneak in, the mage fast asleep, and spot the bag that must contain their most prized possessions. As you stick your head and grabby little hands in, you suddenly feel yourself slip and fall into the bag. Your entire goblin body has disappeared into the mage's magical bag! You've gotta get out! But the mage soon awakens and tries everything to stop you. But perhaps this could be for your advantage...
