Such a fun little game. Love the trade-off between upgrades and losing space to play around in. I could definitely see some cool expansions on this idea. One thing that could be improved was that the orthographic perspective made it a bit hard to see enemies or the character sometimes, but otherwise, super creative interpretation of the theme!

Nice cute little game! AI pathfinder could be improve but great for a first version!

Neat concept, I like how you handled the limited space theme. I think you could push it even further by making upgrades change the level differently (adding water instead of walls for example, or maybe dividing the level in sections with teleporters).
Overall this is a solid entry with nice pixel art and a clean gameplay loop. Good job!

This was cute and fun and it's a shame I can't rate it :,-)

If I were to critique one thing, that would probably be the enemy AI. Shooting guy seeing me through the walls and trying to shoot was acceptable, but a massive group of "creatures" (how do I call them?) sometimes were stockpiling behind a wall so that whenever I need to pass through they would just rush at me at once and kill instantly. Not sure if you didn't have time for this or what's the reason, but in case you're new to this and are looking to explore cool enemy AI that would fit your gameplay, I suggest looking up steering behavior guides! Just learned about them myself recently and was shocked how simple yet effective this thing is! (But I didn't get to implement it in my game haha).
Thank you for the nice game!
