Edge of Extinction

They called me a fool. An imbecile. A moron. "Why are you spinning all the time, what good is that gonna do?" they said. "Stop wasting time just spinning when life passes you by, you idiot" they said. I did not care. I kept spinning. I did not know why. It just felt right, oh, so right. So I kept on spinning. Now I know why. It was in preparation for this day, this day where I am stood on the precipice, nay, the very edge of extinction. I will be the last one standing. And spinning.
