Give Me BBQ
You are running a BBQ service.
There are various ingredients(menu) and grills, and they have different shapes.
You need to put, cook, and serve them wisely.

2. To serve the order, you can get the ingredients from left side and put them on the grill. : This requires enough coins.
3. You can rotate(A, D key) or flip(S key) the ingredients.
4. Each order has a time limit. Don't be lazy.
5. Of course, you must take care the foods on the grill. Otherwise, they will be burnt and thrown away into the trashcan.
6. Each food has front and back side, and you should cook them both.
7. If you are prepared, you can put them on the dish. Notice that the dish still has a grid. : You can earn coins according to the quality you made.
8. Sometimes, you need to move all items from the grill you used to a new grill. Quick trasnport is necessary.
9. That's it! Please run the service wisely!

Pretty cool concept, and nice interpretation of the theme !
The whole game is a bit less fun than it could be, for a simple fact : orders deplete way too quickly. It seems like already with the first orders you have zero leeway to cook it on time, so it's really stressing right off the bat, and a bit discouraging as you know that it's already over if you don't have everything ready a few seconds after receiving the order.
I think the challenge should come from the lack of space, not from the lack of time. I really like this idea but I never got to a point where space was an issue.
That is really a bummer because everything in this game is cool, graphics, gameplay, global polish, but that balancing might tank the ratings quite a lot...

I like this game - great art and audio, a cool idea, and well implemented. I agree with JRevel that I found the time more of a constraint than the space, but I quite enjoy that pressure too so I had fun playing it.

That was more stressful than I imagine most BBQ's to be. :D Overall very well executed. It would be nice to have some kind of preview of the tiles layout of the food before I pick it up. I aso agree with the comments on @jrevel. Sometimes it felt unnecessarily hard for that reason. But I had fun playing this one nonetheless.

I did enjoy it. It took me a minute to figure out the controls, and by then all the customers were already gone. I feel like the best strategy is just to put a bunch of the more common stuff on the grill so it's constantly cooking and you can just plate up when someone comes up. And the different grill shapes are nice too.

@jrevel @stormharrier @bauke-regnerus I agree with your feedbacks, because we struggled with finding a proper point between time and space constraints. At first, we made with hard space constraints, and that was too difficult so that I could not serve a dish(with no practice). So the version embedded currently is much easier version to make even a newbie can serve some - the difficulty increases as you serve more orders. Anyway, thanks again for critical feedbacks. I hope you enjoyed our game!

Really nice game! Well executed. Flipping food is very satisfying for some reason :) I like the graphics.

this was a great game and a fantastic submission! good use of the theme to make a game that increased in difficulty at a good pace and the cooking itself was enjoyable and engaging. i enjoyed the idea of switching grates but when the switch came i didn't realize i could move food over, and thought i just had to get rid of all my food. very good work!

Great game idea! I did that exact thing irl during Ludum Dare and now it's a game 🤯
The game felt nice and polished, I even tried to be sneaky and put the readied stuff on plates, but it still got hard juggling all the stuff at the same time. I liked the relaxed atmosphere that the music made in the middle of all the hassle on the grill 😄

Well polished, maybe the music is too loopy, but that is ok too.

Wow, this was very stressfull!! had a lot of fun playing your game XD The art abd mood is great, plus it gets super challenging really fast lol. I was also confused about having to cook the foods on both side, maybe that could be more clear in the instructions?

Thanks a lot for comments and feedbacks! We noticed that there needs more kind instructions, especially for "flip system" of our game, and we will update these for later patch - yes, we are thinking about making this game more polished and upload it at mobile market (or somewhere our game fits).

Great game! It took me four tries before I realized that I needed to flip the ingredients. I couldn't figure out why I wasn't making any money until I read the description. After that, I really enjoyed playing your game. It's visually appealing and a lot of fun to play. Excellent job! 😉

Cute artstyle! The game loop is nice, just i feel stupid that it took me 2 resets before figuring out you had to flip stuff hahahha, maybe a big WRONG sound effect when you do a wrong order could help people like me who forgot to read, anyway, great game!

It's extremely addictive to play, I couldn't help but play for dozens of minutes. The graphics and music are excellent, creating a relaxing atmosphere.
Just a little suggestion, sometime the checkmark confusing me, would it be better if use different color? For example, yellow for one side cooked, green for fully cooked.

I just can't stop playing this game, I feel like I could play it all day long! If there are any plans for future updates, it would be awesome to have some challenging levels to beat.

This was a very fun and well made game! I liked the depth of the gameplay and how well implemented every feature was. I was surprised the first time the grill changed, but in a good way. It was a fun twist 😆
Very good blend of different mechanics and a well balanced difficulty curve. Also, I really liked the amount of ingredients and the way you depicted them in icons vs on the grill. It all looked very nice and had a cool style.

Quite fun and solid game-play. I'd love a spin on it. Using alien ingredients, meats etc would make it stand out more perhaps, or some other twist. Neat work though!
