I keep seeing a guy on social media, wielding, one of these giant sword. Haha beautiful graphics. Congrats on a great entry!

Really nice graphics, trail when throwing the sword looks really polished and satisfying, also I liked the effect when damaging the trees

The whole gameplay felt really tight, the bounces of the sword were really satisfying and it was a really fun experience. I may have destroyed the whole forest but what is an angry Mamie when the game gives you big numbers to be happy about. This GROS ÉPÉE sure felt like a GROS BOULOT, gg. ;)

Took a swing at 'Gros épée' by Vhalenn, Shirese, and Courgette. What a delightful experience! The game beautifully integrates the concept of 'LIMITED SPACE' with a hilariously oversized sword. I enjoyed the clear objective and the additional challenge of not destroying the forests. The visuals are charming with the protagonist navigating through the vibrant forest, trying to gather mushrooms while wielding that comically large sword. Controls are intuitive, and the feedback from the community showcases the appeal and polish of the game. It’s evident that a lot of effort went into both gameplay mechanics and the aesthetic. the feel of the sword is great, I could throw it around for an hour and have fun the whole time.
visuals are great too, and the music speeding up as the pace gets faster was a nice touch

the scoring system *is* a little confusing to me, it seems like you lose some health when you chop down a tree but that's about it. still a lot more fun to avoid chopping the trees, it just seems like you could get a better high score if you went on a chaotic tree-destructive rampage lol

Nice graphics and simply mechanics. I didn't destroy the forest (not completely) there were trees still standing.

@bobbie Yes in did we didn't wanted to make too much of a hardcore game so cutting trees is not that a big penalty ! We found a better way to do after the jam, maybe we will release an improved game when the ratings are over !
