poor kitten :o very cute game!

It's so much fun and I love the music. The Dash is working fine and the speed is well adjusted so far.
Also: That sound the cat is making rocks.
Will play this again. It would be nice to have this with more levels and on mobile.

Kitty is super cute but I got squooshed even after trying a dozen times.

The space on that spacebar certainly felt limited. That was fun! I liked how pressing space actually pressed it in the game too! I was a little confused on the hit boxes for the fingers not just straight on the middle.

Very cute game, literally fits the theme too, love it! The graphics were cute, maybe it would've been cool to add a bit more life to the game somehow though? Slight visual effects or something, not sure if it would've fit the vibe though what do I know, I'm not an artist :D
Controls were very smooth and responsive, dashing felt good. The audio also was a great pick, and even though opted out (assuming it's not your audio) it did add to the mood really well!

I played For Whom the Baa Tolls from LD52 and am back for more!! This game is super cute and while it is soo simple it is exceedingly fun! Everything, from the art, music, sfx, sprite movement, is soo cohesive and well executed! Basically, everything is super polished!

I really like that the game forces me to calculate my next move and not just mash dash like I usually do. It adds an element of difficulty and strategy. :0 Thanks for making a super fun game and I'm going to play more so I can stare at this super cute cat. The way it slides on the spacebar is soo satisfying. :sob:

super cute game. I think the movement feels a bit slow/unsatisfying, and you have to really make strategic use of the dash. Good job though, it's fairly polished for a jam game!

@gary-the-enchanter they supposed to be in the middle, but we did so many last minute changes so may have broken it :)

@mayple oh yes, that's a good point. Thinking about it, it is weird that you get squashed by a finger that is already fully down

@kepsert yes, audio is not ours (I've added links to the sources on the itch.io page).
As for the visual effects, we need to learn how to do them properly :sweat_smile:

@crylica yeah, we should have experimented with the movement speed and maybe inertia. I think we also set it for a smaller size of the cat initially and never scaled it when scaled the cat. Something to learn.
