Sci-Fi Stratagem

hey! I liked the idea of the game, but for some reason it was very laggy in the browser. Maybe if a windows build was there I could try it out better. I liked the sound effects and the usage of the theme!

@wiru thanks for trying our game and giving it feedback! I added a download option for Windows build so feel free to try it again if you want to. Hope it runs better than the browser version.

This is tough - while dodging the normal bullets was ok, escaping the explosions was really tough. If you want to increase the difficulty even more, let the platform rotate. :grin:
Have some real explosion or something in the red zones would be visually cool.

Definitely fits the theme! Nice balance of challenge and skill, too. I didn't git gud in my time with it, but felt like I could with more time. Nice work! My main suggestion would be to smooth out the difficulty curve a bit? Let me feel like a winner before I'm getting destroyed by 5 explosions.

I imagined the character as a white fluffy cat caught in a hellish trap!

I love this sorts of game. The mechanics worked well and I think it's a nice balance between difficulty and skill. Good mood!

Died when there was only 4 seconds left and ragequitted. But before that, dodging the bullets was really fun, just a perfect amount of challenge. Also, "have forced you to play a game of dodge the bullets and explosions" made me laugh. Sounds like fun and games

Good game and use of theme! I died a lot. Should I feel lucky to escape alive? I kind of want revenge on these alien machine meanos. Shout out to the transition between the title screen and gameplay. GJ!

The idea is fun, but the game was way too difficult for me. I liked the visuals and the music. Overall a pretty well made little jam game.

Great use of the theme, I love bullet hell. The lava ring definitely made this even harder. I would play this.

Really challenging game, my personal best was around 1:10. I think it was really readable, probably it would've been easier for me with a controller (if that's supported) instead of keyboard. The biggest problems for me were the bullets and not running into the (stationary-not-moving-so-totally-shouldnt-be-a-problem) lava.

A pleasant game concept, surviving is quite challenging, especially since you can't touch the edges of the map.
