Introduction

Fit shapes into the center area. When item has been placed, you can click it multiple times to get Stars. You can also get Moons by consuming multiples of the same item from the Consume menu.

About

My first "finished" game ever! Made with Godot 3.5.

Overall, I'm happy with this. The balance is off and progression not very well thought out, and there's lots of bugs, but I made it in the time I had and with the skills I had. I started my first Godot project about two weeks ago. I previously have tried Unity but never made anything playable, so this was a great learning opportunity too. Next time, I'll try making some sounds & music too!

Bugs

There are some bugs, with input etc., and it might crash. I'm sorry :(
I also ran out of time when balancing the progression.

Concept

I wanted to constrain the gameplay with puzzley-mechanics where you need to think how to fit the shapes best into the game arena. In the end, it feels like the constraint is not in the available space, but how much dragging you need to do and how tedious it is. So, I'd probably make some adjustments.

I found out about "Display collision shapes" only in the second day, pic of the before/after :D

Upgrade names I requested from ChatGPT because nobody has time to format strings for constellations. Color palettes also from ChatGPT except for two firsts.
