The game is a bit vague about how it works. You can pick crew members and the goal is to have a successful expedition? After a couple of tries I noticed that there is a limit of 4 for the amount of crew members. But besides a bit of flavor text and art there is not much to the choices you make?
I did see in the result screen that there are scores about
Wealth sum: 150
Edu sum: 175
Exp sum: 175
But I have no idea what this means or how this is calculated or is actually used or not.
Great little demo I would suggest to add some more explanation and guidance so the player knows what is going on.
- Some music in the background for people to listen to while playing. Music adds so much to flesh out games and add to the ambiance even if its just a simple track
- Some background on the text as the text in the top left (and right) is a bit hard to see against the page background due to some objects in the page background being lighter colors. For something really simple you can just do a box the same color as your person selection box
The art has a sort of "pixelart, but not quite" feel that works very well!
