Fun game, liked the references! The collision was a bit iffy, and I don't think you were able to get 5 lives, but it was fun! :D

Fun game, especially loved the bouncing ball enemy i think thats quite an innovative enemy type.

Super fun game! I didn't manage to get through the "tetris" level in no way, died like 10 times lol, but i'll for sure try it again later! Really simple concept, but the music full of energy as well as the fast gameplay really got me! :) really nice work!

Good stuff! A very well executed idea, particularly for a jam game. There's a couple of minor nuisances and gripes, particularly with the collision (as you mentioned in the description), but overall I definitely enjoyed my time with this. Good job!

An easy gameplay idea which gets very interesting because of all the different gameplay mechanics that were introduced by the guests! Was a fun game and it is nice that you referenced LD54 in the final level. Two small points you could adress:
* The sound of e.g. collecting an item is too loud compared to the music
* Based on my experience it is not a good idea to let players replay every level when the become game over. They loose lives because new mechanics are introduced and there are things like collision bugs (that just happen in jam games) that make it a bit frustrating. I was very glad that there was a mushroom at the beginning of the final level 😄 It was a very good decision that the player could look at the level and start it pressing space!

A truly magnificent game with fantastic ideas, especially in the 'special guests'. I adore games where the controls are simple and familiar to all, yet the mechanics and gameplay change according to the enemies and circumstances. When I saw the Mario mushroom with the Arkanoid blocks, I was utterly amazed. What a tremendous hidden gem game!

Really fun game, a bit tricky.
Easy to play, hard to master.. a bit to much in my opinion.

Wow, I could play this for hours, and its so simple.
I did end up outside the play area a bit too often though...

Very cool game concept. I found it challenging and had a lot of fun playing it.

Good concept to merge the different game assets. The colliders are a little frustrating got stuck in some and moved through some others. The audio could be a little more balanced. Music was hard to hear but was good.
