Telebooth Knockout is funny game about fighting in a telebooth. The theme for the jam was "Limited Space". It reminded me of those telebooth boxing videos :). Since there's no space to fight!

I liked this one. Nice use of the theme here. The hits were impactful and the variety of actions in such a small space was impressive. I like the zoom ins, sound, and the numbers that popped up. Very polished! Great work.
Simple but fun game. Graphics, especially the characters are quite nice and cute. Audio is great. I would have liked that your take on the theme affects gameplay as well. Good job!
Nice! I loved it! Refreshingly different use of the theme and well executed! Recruiting my other half to play it too. He is much better at this type of game than I am and I want to watch :P
@kasmilus thank you! I was playing with the balance until the final hour then realized after uploading that I made the haymaker too strong lol. Mostly due to the AI not knowing how to handle it properly. The previous build, the haymakers weren't strong enough, now it's too much
Well executed, too bad there is only 1 fight. The heavy attack seems very (too much?) spammable, it seems stamina is not calculated properly if you spam it.
@matthieu-riboulot thank you! Yeah I focused more on cleaning up the core systems rather than adding more content. And yes unfortunately I was tuning the balance till the final moment and forget to set the haymakers cost back to normal haha. So it's set to 0 for this build unfortunately, hence it's spammable and super OP
Woah ah ah ah. This is a nice, satisfying and polished game. Right on the start, the art, song and animation really *hooked* me... 'pun intended'. Good job!
I got so immersed in the game LOL! I lost 3-4 times in a row, got super pissed off and barely beat him the 5th time haha Great game, the visuals are amazing and the animations too! It gives you enough time to anticipate the punch and weave, but not too much time that it becomes too easy. Great stuff! Nice sound effects too. Really feels like a polished game. Great job!
Nice game, really had some fun there, the music really helped hyping me and getting into it... I can now say I participated in a telephone booth fight, and that's perfect. XD
tight and responsive controls, awesome use of the theme, retro feel with really great and funny gameplay, very simple yet quite challenging, top notch!
It was really addictive. One particular match with 3 perfect haymakers felt sooo good. Also really nice music. Havent seen the credit so I assume you made it? really cool.
Couple of problems I had sometimes keys / actions seemed to lag, which is really noticeable in high-skill arcade games. And single level where opponent has more hp, for me it's just plain cheating =)
@a333 Sorry I should correct that. I added musician to the description. The Music was made by YouFulca. It was an RPG music pack I purchased years ago. Had to dig up the credits. Should have done that before the build.
Also it's less "lag" more that I didn't tune the recovery times correctly. So when things feel "laggy" you're probably recovering from another action. I plan on fixing all those details!
@agrmayank Thank you! Yeah those are all things I decided not to do specifically because it was a jam. I thought getting the game to feel right was more important than making rushed features and content, which can all come with time. On the fence about pursuing this project tbh. Don't know yet
Really polished. The camera zooms added to the impact of hits. I think a damage over time mechanic would neat since there's multiple rounds (unless I missed it). I did end up being able to spam the Haymaker to win. Dunno if that was a glitch or not. Nice graphics and audio! Always dig pixel art!
