Story
In a tranquil forest, toads and frogs once clashed in a bitter rivalry. The source of their dispute was the mystical "Leapstone," a powerful amulet allowing extraordinary powers.
Now, in a time of peace, Toady inherits the Leapstone from his late grandfather, determined to honor his legacy.
As the bearer of this artifact, Toady embarks on a journey to restore the Leapstone to its former glory.

About
In Toad Chronicles you need to help Toady to save the amulet of Leapstone. The Leapstone helps Toady to jump(Toads don't jump) but it has limited power, only 10 jumps to get to the portal.

How many jumps can you have left when getting to the portal? 3, 5? try many times to get the best score. Good Luck!

Interesting platformer. Creative way to interpret the theme. The bg music was nice, reminded me of Halo CE. The graphics were fun, Toady sticking his tongue out when jumps added personality! I think some sound effects would really help, for jumping and collecting items. A keyboard button press to quickly restart the level would be a welcome quality of life improvement.

@teaskyd We added a quick patched version that can be download which does not have that issue when restarting og running out of jumps. It was a little stressfull the last hour before we published xD

@deadjolly Was thinking of just adding a reset button, was afraid it would be accidently clicked, but that would properly not be such a big problem. Oppertunity missed, but maybe if we make something more out of this ;)

Very good art and music, interesting gameplay and mechanics, but ending the game in any way will result in an error and exit. The process is too short, and I regret not being able to experience more.

Loved the audio, loved the sprites. Greatly done puzzles. I did fail to understand where the theme is tho. But nice game.

@ecenizo you have limited times you can click on space on keyboard, and the theme was limited space ;)
@fan @lastuck @n3k0k33p3r Glad you liked it, it's hard to make more levels in 3 short days. But I agree, we had many good ideas how to expand on this, like new amulets that maybe give other powers than jumping. Maybe we make it one day ;)
