Overall a nice effort! Fun to play -- just wish I had bigger guns and more bullets!

Good work, I like the slow ramp up in difficulty, I got swamped at lvl 15 just like the description promised. 😅 I'm not super clear on what the choice meant. At first I thought it was a cumulative "increase damage or visibility" type trade off, but in the end I think you're just choosing one of the same four weapons each round with no actual progression? What is "bigger eyes"? I kind of expected the camera to zoom out a little or something with that one.

Overall I had a lot of fun with this one

I like it! I like that it does not get too hard too fast. Good use of lighting. Classic timeless gameplay. Good job.

I like it. Cool shooting game. But one problem is that my eyes can't stand flickering a bit.

@jotson haha yeah, we would have loved to add in more weapons etc. Tbh initially we had planned on making it kindof like a reverse bullet hell, but bugs kept crawling out from our hacky code lol.

@scottmakesgames yeah the weapons can be switched between, and the various items on the lower row help the slayer out (increase damage, increase speed, increase "eyesight" by increasing the camera limits, and finally increasing spotlight range. Did the bigger eyes not work for you? The camera should have moved back? (Note it only can be purchased 2 times).

@ben-parisi haha yeah we're hoping on adding some objectives but decided to just try to polish up the survival aspect instead when we started running out of time.

Fun game. I didn't understand the upgrades ui at first, I thought the guns and the powerups were the same option but I understood it after a couple levels. I wish there was some more variety in the weapons, maybe a shotgun or something more explosive. Awesome game overall, great job!

Fun little game! Lovely Mood and enjoyable gameplay.

Some feedback: This is likely due to time constraints, but a little primer on how the upgrade UI works (or some feedback that it did work like adding a level to Lights/Damage) would be nice. Because the HP wasn't the classic red color I thought I had died a couple of times before I realized that the upgrades were actually working :joy:

Pretty solid game, the AK seems very strong as I was able to get to the nice level 69 quite easily. I would like to see more enemy variety and perhaps more abilities (bombs, dashes, snares, etc). Great Mood.

Like the others said, needs some work on the UI, and some of the colliders on assests in the road could be touched up a bit. But, I loved the music, really fitting for October. Had a lot of fun taking down zombies, would love to see what this would've looked like if the jam was more than just 72 hours. Great job!

This was a ton of fun, I loved the different upgrade options, and the frequency with which I got to upgrade. Game ran great in the browser. Aiming was spot on and I never felt like I unfairly missed a shot, which can be really tricky to get down just right in games like this. All around great work, had a lot of fun after level 15 :D

I have seeen a similar game with a girl shooting zombies, but this one is unique by its own ! Cool effects!

the character holding the KAR-54 made me laugh. great game, was challenging past lvl 15!

Pretty fun gameplay and strong mood. I was a bit confused by the upgrades but nice job overall :)

thw lightning system is no good but game idea is nice, wish for more content ,nice work

some lighting glitches, no penalty for shooting without interruption
