Great little match 3, it's a shame that the falling blocks sometimes get bugged and it gets difficult to follow. I love your artstyle! Good entry!

Amazing!! The art style is amazing! Sometimes I noticed when playing blocks might get misaligned off the grid and become immovable but otherwise was perfect! I'm still curious what the UI on the right side means, like the bomb icon. Also just holding down the raining blocks button and watching more fall down and clear themselves was fun!

- HEARTS: is your health. Knights attacks your health when you have no more demons in your army.
- STICK MAN : is the number of demons in your army.
- BOMB: remains of game mechanics put aside due to lack of time^^

Had fun matching blocks with some funky tunes, but with so much focus on the matching the auto-battle seems a bit forgettable, even though it's a neat idea. Well done either way!

@heretic that happen when you keep smashing "rain blocks" button, when it's already gameover. Not a bug to worry about because you already loosed game.

there is 2 ways to have game over :
1) no more heart
2) raining on blocks touching top of board (the way you died)

REally enjoyed this game and could see myself loosing hours on a full game. The music was really cool. Only issue i was that the game doesn't end when the blocks reach the top.

The graphics for the game are really good! It overall feels very well polished. The auto battler seemed kind of tagged on top of the main game. Overall, I had a fun time playing! I wish that it were a bit more original so it could stand out against the crowd of tile matching games.

I enjoyed the gameplay, though I thought it was a tiny bit difficult to tell when the game was over because I could still move and drop blocks, they just wouldn't match anymore!
I think it looked great and the tunes were perfect!
Overall, a great little puzzle game with lots of potential!

It took me a while to notice there are things going on at the top of the game! :D I liked the idea, enjoyed the switching, was pleased by the art and had to turn the music a bit down.

The game is very fun and polished. I like the graphics and sound as well; the music is catchy! It took me a little while to understand what was happening at the top of the screen. I think you could include information on what each block does, even if it’s just in the game description.

Cool little match three game! Audio and graphics were very well done. I lasted a good while until suddenly I started losing health without knowing why. I realize now after looking at other comments that there was something happening at the top of the screen, I just hadn't realized. Maybe some kind of tutorial or explanation would help, or better yet, visual convey the importance of the top of the screen. Either way, awesome game, great work!

I liked the game concept. The graphics are very pleasant. I understand there's no such thing as a game-over screen, and it's a bit confusing because I can keep playing, but the blocks don't connect anymore. A good game for a jam.

this was fun! I like the sprite work, it looks great! the little tune playing is also pretty awesome

Will say I didn't actually encounter glitches on my playthrough. The game had me pretty hooked it took me a bit to realize that each block different effects

Awesome implementation of match 3 mechanics! Take a while to see the full picture (for ex. how to push tiles out of the way by swaping them with empty spaces, etc...) but still quite fun implementation of said mechanics.
Simple but still beautiful art.

This game really activated my neurons. Great job on the game!

I liked the style a lot, it reminded me of good old Pokemon Puzzle League :D although sometimes tiles were off railed a bit and I couldn't swap them around or a three in a row wouldn't get desroyed, overall it's a cute little game. Nice one! :)

Hi there, had to come back to this addicting entry and try to get top rank again :P

Also not sure if you plan on doing much more bug fixing, but if u are and don't know this, swapping two blocks right under a falling block can cause this.

There is also some bug which stops you from being able to swap blocks, mainly noticed it on the far right column but could be a coincidence or some feature i'm not aware of.

Overall these bugs haven't stopped me from having a lot of fun but just thought I would let you know

thank you for bugs report ! I can reproduce the first bug, i will see what i can do for it.
For the second i wil dig for. (curently a bug but it can be an intersting feature. I had originally planned to add some "powers" to the enemies, but due to lack of time, I didn't do it.)

Great game, the pixel art looks great, but the gameplay and controls have room to be improved. I think it would have been better if blocks used a TileMap instead of physics, because when the errors build up and the blocks get off-grid it makes the game almost unplayable.

Cute game! Nothing that hasn't been done before, but execution-wise it works really well. The graphics are really charming and well made. I found the music and overall sound a bit grating unfortunately

Nice match 3 game, although as others mentioned as well, the battle part is not super clear. I think the block dominated the screen so much (and are bright colors) that the auto battle part fades a bit. I think you could have gotten away with a smaller grid and larger battle scene.

Loved this game. I felt absolutely nostalgic during the gameplay, it had been the longest since I have played a match 3. It feels snappy, responsive, I really enjoyed the way the sprites were designed with cuteness in mind, feeling like a gameboy game. It was extremely well done.

Things to discuss, I had a weird glitch in the middle of a run in which the tiles of the center of the grid became immovable, without any other indication otherwise. When I managed to move tiles around those and create matches, it eventually fixed itself. But no idea why it happened. Also, one thing that didn't match the usual experience for me for match 3s was both the fact that of the falling blocks, if they formed a match on themselves they would suddenly vanish, seeming a bit like a bug since there was no effect implemented for the breaking of tiles. Maybe just work the numbers before a spawn to make sure no matches happen in the falling row. Also an interesting quirk, tile matches resolved in the midst of a fall, not when a tile hits is effectively grounded. Not that it is an issue, just a quirk for me.

Again, overall, I love match 3 games and this is a solid engine that managed to hit me in the nostalgic feels of the GBC era. Great job seriously, I am happy to have found this gem!
