This could be a board game, great job :)

This was so good! It took me a round to figure out what was happening but after that developing a strategy and having it play out was fantastic.

My only nit is that I wish when you picked up cards, the center of the cards went over your mouse instead of the corner, so it's easier to place them.

Wow, really well done! Trading your own health for minion stats is a really nice addition to this type of card game. The turns and damaging system were not entirely clear at first, but once I knew how it worked, the game provided interesting strategic decision points. Overall a very solid package of story, theme, and mechanics!

Fantastic game! This was really well put togheter! Playing this makes it feel like the tutorial for a game that would go on for hours.

Favorite game of this game jam so far ! The design of the cards are spot on ! It takes a couple of tries to understand the gameplay mechanics, but once you understand how it's working you can really start to plan your next moves. Well done !!!

This game is so good. The art style look very, very polished. The cards are super well animated. The skulls and goblins look super cool. I like the talking in between rounds. The soundtrack and sound effects fit the game perfectly. The look and feel of the game is really, really good. This would definitely be a game I would play the full version of. I am jealous of what you managed to create in such a short time. My favorite entry so far, keep up the good work!

Interesting card management mechanics

Once it clicks it is quite a solid game. Some things never opened up for me - for example what determines the numbers (bones?) I get to my hand. But that did not matter too much for the overall experience.

Trading health for summoned minion stats was a neat idea.

Overall, a very solid entry!

It's an interesting game, I did feel that it's a bit unbalanced, but it's a game jam, so it's understandable! Can really expand it into something bigger. :slight_smile:

Great game with inscryption inspiration. I really liked the mechanic of using your life to boost your summoned creatures, I didn't understand it in my first game and I lost but when you understand it it adds a new vision to the game. managed to beat the orc and the goblin finally but barely! Big gg for the game

The web build is not working that well for me. The UI is stretched all over the screen I have to zoom out the itch page to 50% to be able to play. I think it might be because I'm playing on a 4k tv. Any case, I loved the game! It reminded me of Inscryption. I liked the mechanics a lot and can see myself coming back for some more rounds!

Fun concept you had here! It is very thoroughly polished with good graphics, music, and clear controls. I liked the dialogue and the gameplay was solid. One critique is that the game was difficult for the first 1-3 rounds, but after filling each space with a skeleton you're basically set for the rest of the game. Sending in more than one monster at a time or having monsters with special abilities might make the "late game" more interesting. Overall great job here!

The music started, I was "Hell yeah! Go my skeleton minions! Go!!" ..And then I lost. That's a solid game though, with beautiful graphics and music! A little hard at start up, but really fun !

Really love the artwork and dialogue! Figuring out what I needed to do in combat was a little bit confusing, perhaps more tutorial or something written in the description would help? I also didn't notice the attack raising UI as it was stuck under the "next" button initially but that may just be my screen. Overall great job!

Also, cool concept, a little confusing to get into but it works when you figure it out. I kept pressing the Next button instinctively during cutscenes and they got a free hit in.

Very nice idea. One of the most original concepts I've seen. The general level of the game is very high, it would have been better with more feedback, particles and the use of lights, but given the short time the result is still excellent!

Really cool game! Definitely could be developed further into a single player card game. I also really liked the sound and pacing of the textbox.
