Complete your summoning spell before the Romans destroy it. Summon powering totems to defend the alter.

Totems abilities are controlled by the runes used to summon them.

Summoning consists of a quick mini game.

Hold down space and press either A, S, D, Q, W, E to begin chanting a rune. Chant multiple runes to before releasing space to complete the summoning ritual.

Sorry but I'm too dumb to get it to work. I fill up the summon by pressing the QWE things and I move with A and S. I like the art style and I miss the audio :D and hopefully some other players might be able to figure it out.

The rune placing mechanic is interesting, but not super intuitive - you have to hold space, then a letter and then let that letter go before the bar completes. I'm assuming that different runes have different abilities and different amounts of holding change their strength (i.e. hold longer, get stronger, but hold too long, get nothing).

A couple tutorials levels, or just a 'how to play' slide would be great for explaining how the summoning works.

All in all, a nice compo entry - well done!
