Voxomancy is a game about talking in your microphone to summon spells!

Commands:
- Hold left click to talk (not right click, sorry for the in game typo!)
- WASD to move

Guess the right spell to kill the very threatening colored skeletons and try to survive the longest!

Disclaimer: This game uses voice recognition. Ensure your main microphone is active. If you encounter issues, disable all the sound input devices that are not your main mic on your PC.

This was hilarious to hear my own voice cast the spell. I can see this turning into a fun multiplayer game with friends or a cool solo experience. I lost frames when trying to use freeze and sometimes wouldn't pick up my mic or the left click to right click was inconsistent but Looking past the bugs this is an awesome game! Was tons of fun to play keep it up!

That's a really cool idea! I tried summoning some spells and it was fun. Unfortunately, skeletons easily corner you and when there are at least four of them the game has terrible lags and fps drop and it's impossible to play

A very interesting game idea, although unfortunately, I couldn't play. Perhaps it's because I have a USB microphone, but there was no response to my words. Additionally, when I clicked the left mouse button, the game froze and I had to shut it down.

@pfannkuchen I experience the lag too later in the game, sorry for them, we couldn't optimize it in time unfortunately!

The voice recognition tool is also kinda expensive on cpu

Thumbs up for experimenting and cool design overall, but you can see why no one uses voice recognition for any tasks, delay is like 2-3 seconds at minimum.

The game unfortunately keeps crashing as soon as enemies start spawning on my low-mid range PC (Ryzen 5 2600, GTX 1660S, 16GB RAM). It's a shame because I was really looking forward to it, it seemed so interesting. ;-;
