Wisps of the Forest

Fried my poor ol' lappie so I could only appreciate the screenshots.

gave it a try with my desktop and i was able to average around 20fps on a 3080, visually speaking it looks nice but the slow response made it difficult to control, kudos on adding a menu and controller support. the menus are visually appealing too.

Unfortunately it kept crashing a few seconds after I hit Play from the main menu. Not sure why since I didn't get an error message.

Some positive feedback for you, though - I LOVE the art style and environmental choices you've made. It really is beautiful.

Really like the idea and the visuals were nice, but the darkness was just a little much. Couldnt even see where I was going half the time and had to give up because I couldnt find a path to continue going towards some mushrooms because I couldnt see anything -- good scary vibes, my girlfriend was scared

Even turning brightness and contrast upto max I couldn't make out anything. The mushrooms could have worked, but unfortunately they are obscured by scene geometry 80% of the time, so despite my best efforts I was not able to get anywhere. The wisp rushes to you as opposed to lingering slightly ahead and having you follow it. If you publish a version where the darkness is not so oppressive I will give another try

:o: However, I believe it is now much better than before in terms of lag issues (still requires a good computer to run), and brightness issues thanks to the new wisps behavior. We have made many other improvements as well! :)

The graphics were cool, the dark mood was also good.

It was hard to navigate through the forest in the dark, so I was just wandering around.

The menu graphics are nice and atmospherical!

Maybe try to do it more player-oriented next time.
