Halloween is upon us!
Bad ghosts have taken candy from the little witch.
You're the black cat and her trusty friend.
Collect the candy before the real and dangerous night comes. Your cute kittens will help, but don't let them get hurt!
Use mommy skills for find candies and distract ghosties. To collect candy point the kittens towards it.
Вeware of dogs!
Game Objective:
Find all the candy that the ghosts scattered and return it to the girl.The kittens get scared by barking dogs and drop candy, so it's best not to let them get too close!
The ghosts will take the candy away from one kitten if it gets within range of the kitten
To take the candy, just bring the kittens close to it (the closer the cat is to the candy, the brighter the illuminating indicator becomes).
Mother cat cannot be affected by ghost and dogs so use taunt to change line of sight of enemy to Cat while kitties crossing zone.
Controls (Keyboard + Mouse):
Cat movement - WASD
Kitties movement - Left Mouse Button
To collect candy point the kittens towards it.
Enlist the attention of enemies (taunt) - Q
Displays enemy sight zones and points to the nearest candy - E

Amazing art and gameplay. Somtetimes hit invisible colliders, but that okay, for such short time make great game. Well done!
I lost my kittens off screen a few times (bad mum), but maybe having them stay in a certain radius to cat would feel nice.
The gameplay was simple and fun, though I do feel like sometimes the kittens got stuck on things

I think it would be better for the candy to be more visible within the terrain, as they blend pretty well with the environment

This feels like an innovative entry with a really clear theme, though, so congrats!
I didn't read the whole tutorial at first and tried playing it and figuring everything out on the go - first run was totally failed :D Though in the middle of the run I figured out how everything works in the game. I found it hard to understand that mother's taunt distract ghosts from their line of sight and that I should use it, and moreover it was very hard for me to see the line of sight zone, not enough contrast between red and green color for me. And there was a bug regarding ghosts that if they were triggered they wouldn't stop following my kittens in horizontal trajectory (it was kinda fun trying to pass them, it was some kind of a race). When I figured everything out it was fun trying to sneak past between ghosts and dogs, I really needed to move like a cat :cat:
Overall, great submission!
The only problem was that the collision seemed to be a little strange, sometimes the kittens got stuck on seemingly nothing.
Overall I really enjoyed this game. Again, fantastic artwork!
The unique mechanics of taking care of the kittens are very interesting and at the same time very punishing (those who have more than one child know what I'm talking about).
The dogs strategically placed behind the trees are also a separate punishment for distracted players.
In the end, I returned the candy to the little witch and your Halloween will be happy.
NOTE: I didn't find any bugs.

I had a hard time finding the candies at first. Maybe that's part of it, but they are really hard to see, so made it difficult to know what I was trying to do before reading the full tutorial. It was also a bit unclear how to use my kitty powers to help against the dogs too.
But overall, I loved this! The art and animations are so well done. Nice job!! :smiley_cat:
I liked the aspect of playing as one character but controlling a bunch of other characters, though I found the controls a little wonky in the beginning. Eventually I got the hang of it, though. I do also wish it was a little easier to find the candies / see the danger zones -- I might have preferred if that mode was always turned on. I also found the map a little hard to visually interpret at times, it was kind of difficult to tell where I could go, maybe some bigger differences in color between walkable and not-walkable ground could help there.
Great work overall! I always have to support games with cats. :)
