*Designed for mouse but way more fun with a lightgun*
Trouble at work? Struggling family life? Do you ever feel like the weight of the world is crushing you down, compacting you into a feeble and tiny creature?
Well do I have the fix for you! Come on down to Dino Hunter Safari and experience the thrill of taking down the most apex of apex predators. There is no better way to feel better about yourself than spending an afternoon slaughtering hordes of giant powerful beasts.

I completely underestimated how difficult it would be to make a light gun game. I spent the majority of the time animating the camera and trying to figure out a good workflow to go back and forth between blender and godot. This was a pain and I imagine there are probably much better workflows than what I suffered through.
Once the main animation was finished, I could focus on other much more important stuff like the Hollywood quality voice acting and incredible brachiosaurus model.
I made every single art asset from scratch except for the UI. My only regret was not making more dinosaurs, especially a T-rex for a climax chase scene.

Post-Jam Version
The itch.io page now has a post-jam version available with the changes listed below. The files named "POST_LDJam..." are the updated version, while the "LD56_..." file is the original jam submission. You should rate the original version, but I recommend playing the post-jam version for a slightly enhanced experience.
```
- show score screen on death instead of just restarting
- added gamepad + rumble support
- increased ammo from 30 -> 35 (so it's easier to get a zero-damage victory)
- added some water particles to "Lake Drive" section
- minor tweaks to dino timings to make "Water's Edge" section slightly easier
- lowered background music volume
