The art is really slick, and I enjoyed the music! The concept seems solid enough, I like the idea of an asymmetrical platformer where you have 2 characters that have to work in tandem playing towards their strengths.

Unfortunately, the movement mechanics really prevented me from playing much of the game. I'm not sure if it's intended, but the player slips through the platforms, and it's really hard to jump from one to the next. I had to hold down the space bar and just hope I got lucky enough to reach the next one.

When I got to this section, I simply couldn't make any more progress:

Let me know if there's something I missed with regards to the movement, I'd really like to play this one til the end!

It's actually cool game, art of it is so fantastic, but there is many problems with movement controller and tutorial. It's sad, but maybe test on Friday will be more politely to play)

I really liked the game. interesting mechanics with two characters. excellent animations of movements and mechanisms, a good art style, I can also highlight the music, it turned out to be atmospheric.

The game was really fun! I do think the music a bit too loud, but the visuals and the cutscenes were cool. The movement felt a little floaty but it was inputs were snappy.

It is incredible to make such epic game in just 3 days! Love the art works and protagonist’s design. Excellent design!

Great work! Overall a solid game for a game jam, good art, music, nice concept and a quite big level filled with some interesting puzzles. Very cool that y'all managed to put this together in just 3 days! I especially liked your take on the theme, and how you made the tiny creature a companion for some classic "control two characters to solve puzzles" gameplay.

I have three criticisms, though:

1. I found the visual language a little confusing at times.
For example, I thought the checkpoints had to be avoided at first, because they look like spinning sawblades. Seemed like something I needed to stay away from.
It also took me a while to understand the ledges. When I see ledges in a 2D platform, I assume they are platforms to stand on, it took me a while to understand they were ledges to hang from instead. I got stuck at the first ledges for almost a minute because I was so confused about why I kept falling throught the platforms. I see from @andrewkennedys comment that I'm not the only one who made this mistake.

2. For a platformer, the movement speed of the character felt a little bit sluggish.

3. I kinda didn't get the ending. It was visually cool, and there seems to be a narrative here, but I don't understand it.

The combination of the ruins scene and the techno music is great, and the last rooftop walking scene is also very poetic. The character's movement operation is a bit stiff, and it would look more natural if the character could have a running animation, after all, they has to escape from a giant machine enemy. Maybe you can add a little feedback on being attacked, which can be sound effects.

The story in this game got me emotional. Very nice visuals, I don't know how you managed to do it in 3 days. At the beginning of the game I fell through the textures, but you made saves and I didn't lose progress, thanks!

The game is cool, i love games with some new "fight" system, the idea to freeze and not kill the robot are really smart. I liked too the 2 character controling idea, even if sometime i took like 10 try to drop the rat into a small way believing that i'm Curry or Kobe lmao. For real, this is really cool !

A LOT of work has gone into this and it shows. Really nicely done. I have to echo what @andrewkennedy says above though, I ended up just holiding space and hoping and got stuck at the same place roughly. Great work on the intro, onboarding and audio though. Love that the main character is tapping their foot to the music!

Ok, did not expect it to go this hard, but omg the game is amazing. Kind of hard to understand the climbing mechanic, but everything else is simply great.

This was a lotta work for 72 hours! congratulations. Very cool and atmospheric. I usually don't fw tweening motion but the camera was so pulled back it looked good. I'm unsure if you're meant to slip through platforms, but the fact it only happens on some of them makes platforming a little unreliable. I was also able to keep space bar pressed down to keep jumping once I touch a surface and I'm also not sure if that's the intended way of playing it. I really don't mind taking different approaches to old gameplay concepts, I just think they need consistent rules of interaction so it doesn't come across as unintentional design.

Unfortunately, due to the weight of the project I couldn't run it, so I'll give an estimate based on comments and pictures. The game looks great, and since there are also their own soundtracks (hopefully without the use of artificial intelligence), only respect, as I myself am a music composer. Anyway, for the graphic, a big kudos from JoBlow!
