Hoard as much honey as you can before time runs out!
You have 5 minutes to gather as much honey as you can in your stores. The map changes every time you play!
Known Bugs!
- Make sure to let the nectar timer run down and the bees come back before sending more out. If you send them out at odd intervals it can bug out the timer. If I do further development on this, I will need to add individual timers instead of a global timer for this action.- I moved the wrong part of the camera assembly into position right before submission. So the middle mouse button/Q-E camera rotation is borked.
WebGL Struggles
WebGL build didn't work because this bakes a dynamic navigation mesh on startup and I haven't been able to get it to load properly.Controls
The controls are fairly standard RTS.Select Units: Mouse Drag Box or Point Click (but this one is buggy based on zoom level). Shift click works to select/deselect units too.
Pan: WASD or Right Click + Drag
Zoom: Scroll Wheel
Command: Right click while selected to move
Collect Nectar: Click the flower button when you have a bee selected. The timer will count down until their return. Bee's holding nectar have a flower icon above them.
Make Honey: With a bee's selected, click the honey spoon button. Then right click the honeycomb you want to make the honey in. The bee will deposit the nectar and when the nectar is full, it will make the honey.
Make More Bees!: Click on the queen and click the bee button. She'll start cooking another worker.
Icons: The flower icon above a bee shows that it is holding nectar. The flower icon over a honeycomb shows that it has nectar left and needs more to finish its honey stores.
Resources
- Honeycombs hold up to 14 nectar.- Honey creation consumes 7 nectar.
- Each honeycomb can hold 2 honey.
