LD56 - Serpent Surge

Cute Little Game ! It Reminded me of snake of course. Ambience is nice and I had much fun trying to get a higher Score than before. I liked the simple and clean Art.

Fun! Simple and effective graphics and gameplay. It was really satisfying to cruise around as a big snake eating all the little guys. Pretty difficult when the big enemy showed up though.

Very nicely polished game. All the visuals look great and the sound design is top notch as well. I just found it kind of hard to grow the sanake though (maybe I just suck tho ^^), since those red aggressive creatures would always kill me after some time and in the beginning you're not fast enough to outrun them either. Other than that, great work!

Absolutely loved it! I managed to grow quite a bit after eating the big red jellyfish, which gave me the satisfaction of conquering something bigger than me. It's a great stress-reliever! Great job!

I thought it was too hard at first but was able to finally not die after the 4 play through. So maybe the difficulty is actually perfect since it kept me playing to try to get a best kill combo early on.

This game is oddly satisfying and brings back memories of watching kids play the fish-eat-fish game. The random upgrades make me feel invincible for a bit, until a giant red plankton shows up and devours me in seconds. It’s a thrilling experience and thanks for the entry!
