a chill, clicker-inspired game where you dig through blocks of dirt and stone, craft, and upgrade your abilities — all in pursuit of reaching the depths and uncovering its mysteries.
Played through the base game and 2 ascension runs. Really fun! Well done! The only thing I wished for while playing was an easy way to manage and view miner's equipment. late game it was hard to tell who needed what and hard to give the right miner what was missing.
So far the most enjoyable game! I'm so glad there is an actual ending otherwise I would've kept playing forever lol, the addiction factor is off the charts. I don't know how you make the art for the blocks but it looks so darn satisfying and all the layers are optimized enough for the game to run smoothly on web. Honestly you deserve a pat on the back for this one, I had so much fun my monke brain was way too hooked to notice the atmosphere slowly turning evil. Amazing experience.
Was alot of fun - love how the music builds a sense of dread and concern the deeper you go, feeling happy with the progress but also starting to think about if you might be digging too deep, I also love my little worker friends and will do anything for them!
enjoyable game for minecraft players :) great style and execution.
feedback from ui guy: bit too much clicking in the beginning but with full mining operation its nice. crafting ui could do some improvements (if you switch item during crafting it should restart crafting, crafted items shouldnt block crafting others or if its a mechanic - make the 'ready to pick' item more urgent / standing out. craft button could use some better color for enabled too). It wasnt clear how to apply items too at first so a hint about it would be nice. UI in general could use some more 'clicky'-meaty feeling of whats toggled whats not. And last small thing - replace words 'attack' 'hit' 'damage' with something else - its not a combat.
This is so addicting! Is that based on an addicting game? I feel like if you expand this, people would just keep playing it :) I just loved dressing up all the miners and have them work faster and faster. I found it a bit tricky to put the clothes on the little miners moving so fast, but maybe there was also a better way to do it? Really great game, also very beautiful art style and fun little characters. Well done!
I really don't like clickers because they are so addicting and I couldn´t stop playing this one, so it must be good. BUt it wasn´t too long so it didn´t feel like i wasted too much time. Great job! It was a little frustrating that they go after items that they already have, but besides that it was really polished.
As my miners delve deep into the darkness, they uncover the horrors once more. How many times have they done this? 10? A thousand? Still they can't figure how the hell to unlock the secret upgrade.
This is a work of art. click,click,click,click,dig,dig,dig,dig click,click,click,click,dig,dig,dig,dig click,click,click,click,dig,dig,dig,dig click,click,click,click,dig,dig,dig,dig click,click,click,click,dig,dig,dig,dig click,click,click,click,dig,dig,dig,dig
so im about done with my 7th completion, 1 last category to go then i maxed out the miner stuff. i really want to see this as a mod in minecraft. it would be so much fun. also i agree with some past comments, like if i can click on a miner and get access to his inventory to just click and drag stuff to it. also i noticed there was a 1 miner per block limitation, so alot of miners were just standing around and wasting time. i think there could be a way to have them go to the closest block and mine it with out breaking game balance. over this game was fun and one ill prolly come back to now and again to play in the future.
Oh! This is a masterpiece! Graphics, sounds, idea, and everything together - it made me so happy! Played it through to the end on my Mac - it looks stunning! What can I say: We want you on our team))))))
The game looks great, and it is a fun idle/clicker game. I'm really impressed by how much content you managed to get done in this short time. Great job!
This was really fun. I liked the slow change in music as you descended until it become a bit disturbing at the end lol. Really cool game and loved the execution of the little guys/their upgrades.
The art style is pretty cool, I love how it works well with the interactions and how progressively the new styles show up. The craft system is an interesting idea, and how it enables upgrades depending on depth. I just felt the miners who already have a craft item could leave them for the others, and I was wondering if those items would count for everyone or just for those who pick them up. In the end, I opted not to craft things because I like the power-click mechanic 😅. Nice work!
I loved the style of this game so much, this may be my favortite resource gathering game I have played all jam.
The shift from peaceful and calm to dark and ominous in visuals and atmosphere is such a cool idea, and I loved the hand drawn artstyle everything has, it's super charming and gives the game a lot of personality. I also thought taking care of the little guys by giving each of them tools was really cute, it really felt like I had a team of goobers helping me.
it feels so satisfying to click because of the animations the pointer and the great sound design. I thought the length was just right, not too short and not too long, and the general presentation and feel of the interactive elements did a fantastic job keeping me hooked
It is a very good entry, I believe it will be among the top. I ascended twice, than dropped on this moment.
I would suggest miners to mine the block somebody already mining if there is nothing else to do. And also would love them to mine horizontally as they are quite bad at getting at the top of the block and sometimes they just standing just because they dom't know how to climb.
Anyway, it is very close to a game that can be released on the marketplace and if it sould be there - I would buy a copy.
Wow, the visuals and music, the overall mood—it's stunning! Very well done! The ending felt so good.
The only thing that disapointed me were the miners. They were pretty useless even after upgrading :( They are nice fellows but they are so weak that only thing that worth upgrading was power clicks and do everything myself. I tought I'll keep upgrading and adding miners and then just look the game to play itself at the end. But no, I had to do it manually anyway, and I don't like do things manually :D But I get it was kind of a purpose, it fits to the genre. So don't take it as a critique, it was awesome game!
It is an amazing game! Well done on your magnificent entry! A blast to play! Did you use 3D in the making of it?

Artstyle is phenomenal! I have a weird feeling tho that the artstyle doesn't complement really well with this game genre. I would have loved to get creative with this artstyle and maybe build my own structures of blocks.
It's still a very fresh artstyle for a clicker game, and the clicker mechanics with the upgrades and all were really cool too! overall great work!
Really well polished, I adore the artstyle, and the VFX in the end definitely had a lot of polish, especially with the time constraints of a jam. excellent job!
This is peak, my only complaint is how miners will try to get gear they already have, makes it frustrating when you're trying to get everyone have the best gear. Otherwise this is incredible, amazing work
I love idle games and I was hooked enough to go all the way and had a good time. I really like the aesthetics of the game and all the little noises. I find that it takes a little time to get going and it took me a while to understand the material crafting... but really cool
First of all, I'd like to say that the terrain art and VFX here are just STUNNING. Coupled with the relazing and immersive sound design, it makes for a very satisfying and addicting experience mining the blocks.
As for the gameplay, one thing that frustrated me quite a bit is that my expectation for these types of games is to quickly start automating the processes and not having to click as much (only if I want to). However, for this game, that didn't happen. I felt like no matter what I did the miners were kind of useless and took forever to break a block. Even the auto attack was very inneficient compared to just clicking. Also, money and some of the resources took to much effort to go up - there wasn't much to do apart from clicking the blocks for a long time. Playing through some ascencions, this got a bit better but I was never able to fully automate and feel like the owner of an empire muahaha. So my feedback would be to balance it out so there's a bit more automationg since earlier in the game, or at least less of an imbalance between the automated options and just clicking (clicking is way too OP).
I don't like clickers, but I'll admit that I've never clicked with such curiosity in my life. You got me!
While playing I asked myself "How did he manage to do that art?" And I'll tell you that the music that increases the tension from step to step is the ideal sauce for his secret.
This game is absolutely fantastic. From the evolution of the music through the layers, to the little animation. Everything is really, really good. It is a masterpiece for a clicker, and it was only made in such a short notice.
If you add other things to this games and published it on steam, I'm sure it will take of.
Congratulations ! Please continue to work on this game and I'm looking forward your next one !
Absolutely love it! This clicker game is incredibly engaging – working alongside the little miners really gives it a fun, cooperative feel. The presentation is top notch!
Oh my goodness, this was a blast! I know some comment about the miners being useless but I LOVED them, and appreciated the auto-click (in my desk corner here my hands get icy and it's hard to click fast even though I LOVE idle/clicker/incremental games).
I also loved the "ascend" option! I wish it was easier equipping my lil miners but otherwise this was fantastic 🧡
This was really really good. Very enjoyable core gameplay loop + great art and music. Had 4-5 people watching over my shoulder as I played it in the office and everyone was completely enthralled.
Probably my favourite game of the bunch I've played so far, only issue is equipping the miners is a little difficult because some of them will steal the item even if they have it equipped. Other bug I noticed was if you start crafting an item you can then switch to a different one and you can essentially make the best items for 4 stone (price of the sandals).
This was really beautifully done, great art style and a really compelling loop that keep you wanting to hang around for the next thing to upgrade or craft. awesome work
Loved it, it's really relaxing until everything's getting dark and menacing ! Art is great and the ambiance through the descend is on point, well done !!
Really awesome, it hooked me for few loops .... Visuals are amazing, I really enjoyed this art a lot. Everything is perfectly mastered, animation juice shaders everything is so neat. The ambiant sound is a bit "dark" in contrast of my 13 little miners all so fashioned. In term of gameplay this is already awesome, but I whish their was more use of the differents minerals and loot to level up, I felt overpowered for crafting but there is gold loot only at the begining and all powerup uses gold only :') There is some room for polishing this kind of mechanic but that's awesome already. I Enjoyed a lot all about visuals and also special point that game end animation and shaders that reminds, and creating a loop at the end. Very very good entry. Sometimes I hallucinated miners were sculpting or discovering treasures, or dirt looked like some blob with 2eyes ... I think I played too much. Great job, this is among the best ones I've played so far !
That's a really cool entry! That game was a nice and curious experience.
It would be better if miners won't chase after dropped equipment that they already have. It was really tough to equip miners well because really fast miners prevent others to be that fast as well. Also, when there's only few blocks that already occupied by miners other won't pick up any equipment though they are free from digging.
That was all troubles that I had. Otherwise, I have only positive impressions. The style of the characters reminds me of the inhabitants of Stacklands. Final screen had some really cool effects :D Well done!!
I honestly find little appeal in click/idle games, but other than that it's well made. The mood is cool and chill, graphics are cute. I'll let the others comment on gameplay. Good job!
Best one I've played so far! Love the scaling of your team, the art style and the motivation to keep playing even after reaching the bottom. If there was one thing to be improved it was equipting the workers via drag and drop. A list would be easier to use. Apart from this I'd pay money for this game 🚀 Love it!
Really satisfying clicker and I absolutely love the artstyle. But my miners bugged out after I got more than 5 of them, they just started running in place without mining anything

Great clicker game, good job. Had a nice time :)
really nice work

Keep up the great work :raised_hands:
Unfortunately there is a rendering bug when opening the game in Firefox :/ Opening it with Chrome works fine though.
Sometimes I hallucinated miners were sculpting or discovering treasures, or dirt looked like some blob with 2eyes ... I think I played too much. Great job, this is among the best ones I've played so far !
Having the little guys to equip is so cute. :P
Found a minor visual bug, in addition to the magenta triangle posted earlier: (this is the material list for second boots)
That game was a nice and curious experience.

The visuals are really nice. The UI is very clear and I like the crafting feature.
Although it's "just" a clicker-game, it was a nice twist you put into the genre by using this tower format.
best game in LD57 without doubt
