Dig Down Dude!

This thing is very broken, but I assure you, lose not your confidence, it IS beatable.

Let me tell you the things that don't work so you know not to spend money (unless you want the extra points) on upgrades that don't do anything:

* defense - broken
* max health - WORKS
* movement speed - broken
* turret - broken
* drill - broken
* Attack Range - WORKS (i think)
* Rate of fire - WORKS
* Unlock personal gun - works (i think)

if you go to the exit/store, but it wont let you out, check the top of the screen. If the number isn't to ZERO it wont let you leave. (you need to DRIVE your ship to the exit/Store)

There are 3 levels. See if you can beat them all. Should totally be doable. xD

Was it deep enough? The drone was overpowered but at least it let me to dig deep enough. Yeeah!

The visuals were surreal, to say the least! I thought I had the hang of it at the beginning, I was collecting resources from the dirt-tornado. But any time I went to the store, it would show me a death screen, so that was confusing. Was there a way to go to the store without dying?

@andrewkennedy you can get the store if you don't die, but then you are probably to weak after that to not "die" i ran out of time to make the death scene one that said, "your ship is broke, but you are not...yet" or something like that. xD

The look is great and unhinged. I'm bad and this and kept crashing.

My crash edits are so you don't see my desktop. I might have cut a second before the actual crash.

@bangkerpow looks like an upgrade issue, definitely not a lot of testing with those since those were the things i was working on when the event ended. I'd try it but only picking the ones I reported are working. range, firerate, max health, and personal gun. It could be something else, but not sure!

It felt very much like a UFO-50 game in a sense that I first had to figure out how the game wants to be played. The last level was another instancing overload I've come to love and, let’s be honest, expect from your games. Also the audio was very moody! The insane and wonderful graphics as expected :D
I love the vortex of stones and "stuff" very nice effect.
I found surviving hard at the beginning but very easy as soon as I get a few upgrades.

Very nice entry :thumbsup:
Also, the CLI output :laughing: Love it!

My RAM can't handle a game with such high-end graphics. I made it to the end but attempting to take a screenshot was enough to make my OS kill the process.

It took me a while to understand what I was supposed to do, and then I managed to defeat the initial enemy once! No chance against the next wave though...
