Load CD; Save City

This is a silly game by all means. I'm happy with the cd's. They look really neat.

I hope you make it to the end and that you die at least once, maybe.

WASD to move around, your level progress saves automatically, unless you close down the game.
If you do want to save the level you are on, you can, and then you could load it up when you were to launch the game again. I've never done that before. (but, yeah, not that it matters tremendously for your game enjoyment, it doesn't. :D

Everything should work. I don't even know what happened to the non-firing glitch. Maybe someone will run into it.

The shooting is a bit buggy, so if it doesn't work and cd's aren't popping, no worries; You can still beat the game without it.

Enjoy the 1980's that this era represents.
We had to deal with the perks of cd's, increased storage, and smaller spaces to save data compared to the cassettes and magnetic tapes prior, but then the headaches of cd's as well, the scratched surfaces, skipping, and careful handling of the precious data. D:

note: if you are really having trouble beating any level for some reason, use the cntrl key to sprint.

Enjoy!

I didn't review it because I only play embeded games here. But I did watch the timelapse as I was intrigued and it looks really cool, and I love how hand made everything is (including the font!)

CHAOS!! I love the text all over the place, and the nods to Phil/PP. I felt like there was something wrong with the bullet collisions on some levels. Sometimes the bullets did not hit the CDs. But after a few tries on the level with the CD player, it suddenly works again. I don’t know if it’s a collider issue or something else. But really nice, very well done!

Note: Played the Linux version.

Unhinged bro. There's even random text in the terminal. Good job :)
