Lol very funny game, love the physics and the general ambition on display. The floppy waffles were beautiful. Unfortunately I kinda sucked ass at the game, all of my waffle creations were horrible abominations, but I feel like that's kinda the point lmao good work, super unique entry
Fun little shop simulator that kinda starts a bit stressful ("oh everything is going everywhere!"), but then when you get the hang of it almost becomes meditative.
It is very cool and beautiful and I wonder how to make all of this in JAM time restriction, so you did really awesome! Unfortunately, It crashes frequently after the first client on my PC, I don't know why. Checked other cooments, I believe I had fluid in the scene.
Anyway, you did super cool! I hope you have some plans to develop this one to a complete released project!
i think my shop sells deconstructed waffles lmao. fun mechanics especially once i figured out how to speedrun the waffles. not sure if balancing the stuff on the waffles had any impact on score but that would actually be a super cool mechanic (all my waffles fell over :P). didn't notice upgrades having much impact unforturnately - but has the potential to add a lot of replayability to this game. also i think all my waffles have chocolate on the bottom now hahah - free chocolate for all!
super cute game! I love seeing fellow Unreal games on here, glad you're getting lots of exposure! I think it might be better if the station was cleaned after each customer. While it was funny how thigs got messier after each customer it was frustrating that the chocolate buildup would make the next orders waffles slide off  Also I don't know if it was a bug but the waffle cooking was really fast, if you double clicked the waffle maker a full waffle was ready instantly.
Ha, very fun physics based game, and even with soft waffle physics! I was enjoying it despite my accuracy was low. Unfortunately game crashes for me after I finish order. I didn't found logs, only crashdump.
Very silly with the sloppy liquid/softbody physics. Definitely getting Krusty Krab vibes lol
That said, I think the physics were a bit buggy. Often got things "correct" (when I totally didn't) and something got things partially wrong when I thought I actually got them right. Could use a little more feedback when a specific item is "good to go". The hand-painted graphics were very nice though and I liked the gameplay loop. Overall not a bad entry here.
I love the silliness of putting the waffles together. I too had crashes prevent me from playing very much though. the graphics and physics were great though.
Graphics were nice. I felt like I was just spraying batter and chocolate all over the place instead of coming anywhere near actually making waffles, though
Congratulations on spending 1 minute per game before rating. It's very disrespectful and I hope you understand that all you do is hurt yourself in the process. All of your comments are so generic that you could add it to any game, there is no trace of substance to the point where one can question if you even played at all. That's not helpful to anyone. You would not like to have each of the comments you received be generic 4 word comments.
It is against the spirit of the Jam, please better yourself.
@Anonyphant the rating has been going on for 10 days. I spend around 5-10 minutes per game - which is the same amount of time people are playing my game (according to ingame stats).
@anonyphant hey I have 30 minutes this evening, you can link your game so I would play and rate! And no, every rating is helpful especially while they're below 20!
No technical glitches here, I did occasionally pour batter on a closed waffle iron though.
Great concept, I was trying so hard to align waffles on the plate for presentation to see if my accuracy went up, but couldn't get above 40%
If you continue to develop post-compo , a cloth to wipe down the work surfaces would be a cool addition, say if you get a customer allergic to chocolate and your work-station is compromised with sauce all over the shop
I did everything as insanely as I could, it was fun to pour batter and chocolate everywhere but still get a really high score on every breakfast haha. this is super impressive for the limited time you had!
The syrup wouldn't stop! And then the game crashed haha, but this was fun. I love games about food! The 3D movement is a bit wonky, but I like the placement marker. It's pretty fun to make waffles and add fruits, nice job!! But once I opened the game again, it didn't crash!
I think just having a few more types of fruits or toppings could really help with variety. It kinda ended up being same-y. But also I think something that would add a lot is some type of mini game with cooking the waffles, so MAYBE you can burn them, or you could also get a rating on how well you cooked it.
Managing multiple waffle machines to cook a few at a time could also be fun, if the waffles took longer to cook! It's a pretty good base line \o/

Keep up the good work though! loved it!

Fun little game, definitely a vibe.

I got a hard crash pretty soon after playing. I'm not sure how to get/create a crash dump, but if you want to explain how I can try and post it
