It was definitely creepy, I even got goosebumps. It's cool that you managed to create a thriller atmosphere without using any obvious techniques like screamers and blood (okay, it was, but not in its typical form). But, as for me, this was not enough :( I would like some interactions besides wandering around the rooms and short cutscenes. Anyway, it wasn't bad, but there is something to strive for. Good luck!
@duvdvan Hey, thanks for the honest feedback! It’s missing a lot of the things I wanted to include, especially the “fake game” part, which would have affected elements in the house or given hints for a puzzle section. I had also originally planned to add a wandering YELLOW that could chase you, along with some hiding mechanics. I don’t like when horror relies on obvious tricks, so that was a bit of a challenge, and I’m glad it actually worked out, especially with less than 30 hours for the jam :’)
What can I say except that it was a spoopy experience.
Spoilers ahead.
!> So Red drowns its sibling Blue while playing a game in the bathtub. Their father Green, feeling guilty because he allowed it to happen by not watching them properly, hangs himself. Then, their mother Yellow, kills her child Red because of what it did.
Damn, that's deep for a game about colors.
The end credits remind me of the end credits of my Ludum Dare 56 game Mediator.
Sorry I'm late to playing your project, today was the first day I could get back on the computer, but I'm here now so let's go!
Great working building up a fairly solid amount of tension here, and within such a short amount of time. I actually liked that not very much of the presentation was overall overt, even if the narrative elements were as such. There's clearly a ton of effort in here given the timeframe, and I think you took the theme in a clever direction. Excellent work overall!

Amazing job with the storytelling! Approved!
