This is our ludum dare 58 jam game. The game is made in under 72 hours. We hope you'll have fun playing our game.
Story
The town of Fungi Fields is plagued by wild mushroom growth. Actual mushrooms. Some wiggle. Some toot. Some are inexplicably sprouting on our citizens. The cows are forming militias. The town crier has taken refuge in the bell tower, screaming “THE FUNGI ARE MOCKING US!”
The mayor (Mortimer G. Flapdoodle) has tasked you, a expert Mycologist, to gather and identify the mushrooms. Hopefully to find the source of the plague!
Whispers speak of a golden mushroom at the heart of this chaos. Whether it’s responsible for the uproar, or just very flashy, we cannot say, but it is undoubtedly the most dramatic mushroom in history.
Instructions
- WSAD or Arrows to walk
- Mouse to look and steer
- Leftclick to interact
- Mousewheel to select item
- Rightclick to drop selected item
- Gather shrooms. some need tools.
- Check the encyclopedia to see shroom info
- Identify shrooms by placing them in the correct showcase
- After indentifying a shroom you can now sell this type for gold.
- Buy tools and sell shrooms in the shop
