Brother, hurry and put the disc in...

Description

While sorting through their late parents' belongings, a brother and sister stumble upon a strange-looking computer. But the moment they turn it on, the sister is instantly pulled inside, leaving her brother standing beside the screen alone.

The sister finds herself trapped in what appears to be a game—devoid of any interface or abilities—yet able to communicate with her brother through text on the screen.

The only way out is to beat the game, but to do so, she must fight her way through hordes of monsters. Given that she was pulled in wearing nothing but her loungewear, it’s no easy task. Fortunately, her brother finds an old floppy disk; after inserting it into the drive, a sword materializes in her hands.

You control both siblings simultaneously: while the sister fights inside the computer, the brother swaps ability disks to keep her going, as each floppy disk holds only a single ability.

Controls

- WASD – Sister's movement inside the computer
- LMB (on the computer screen) – Use the floppy disk ability (towards the cursor)
- LMB / keys 1–9 (on the disk selection screen) – Swap floppy disks

AI Disclosure

> All art inside the computer screen was hand-drawn by an artist.

> The 3D models of the computer, floppy drive, and floppy disks were generated using AI.

Super well made entry! I actually wasn't expecting to make it all the way to the end but I kept playing one more level. Well done.

We didn't have enough time for testing, so some bugs might pop up, but for the most part, everything should work.
Unfortunately, if something does break, the only solution is to restart the game.

This is a highly polished game; it’s engaging in every respect. I’m particularly fond of the story premise, and the new abilities provide a great incentive for players to keep pushing forward to the next level.
