HYPNAGOGIA FRONT is a psychological horror game about observing an individual whose connection to reality is gradually slipping away.
You find yourself on the other side of a camera, following a young woman named Iris.
She wanders the corridors of a psychiatric asylum, searching for something that might finally allow her to fall asleep. But as the recording continues, it becomes increasingly difficult to discern what is actually happening around her.
Explore labyrinthine hallways, make choices, and keep moving forward. Not everything that occurs can be explained, and the consequences of certain actions often become clear only when it is too late.
In this story, you will observe Iris - but you will never see the world through her eyes.
Super cool! Very atmospheric game! And the graphics are beautiful. To beat this game, I had to draw a map in a paper, just like in good old days, and for me normal difficulty already was pretty hard :)
game is interesting but when you can't find "medicine" for long time it gets little boring .Also horror atmosphere really cool for moment thought there is gonna be jumoscare.Nice game!
Super cool camera perspective and the voice acting is top notch. Though, I often found myself overestimating my step size and couldn't easily go backwards. Still a great game though.
The mood in this is off the charts. One of the most atmospheric games i've played. I actually quite like that you can't walk back. It makes each choice you make far more important. The voice acting and sounds are great and she really sells the creepiness and mentally disturbed vibe of the character. Great entry. Well done!
The visuals are awesome! I especially liked that the game is played from a SPP, which is very rare to see. It's just a bit confusing when you turn, and it's hard to orient yourself in the space.
Oh my God, I can’t believe I finally found his sedative. I thought I was going to lose my mind. The game is cool, I like the art style — it’s very beautiful.
This is so cool! A second-person perspective exploration game! What a great idea—I really wish I had better English skills so I could understand this game, but I love it! (By the way, the visuals are really, really great! I love them!)
his is an amazing game! I’m still a bit confused about the gameplay though. Is the goal to escape the little girl by walking backwards? The camera faces forward while the player moves backward, right? The voice acting and music are fantastic! I also love the art style, rendering, and HUD design.
I really dig the visuals and art direction here! The control scheme is a bit challenging to reckon with at first--forward actually marching the player backwards is a bit confusing--but once you realize it's basically a labyrinth you solve backwards, it's easy enough to turn 180 degrees at junctions to scout the road ahead. Very interesting atmosphere and story you've built--top marks for the eerie mood!
Absolutely stunning visual style, and the whole game feels so polished. Watching Iris through the camera is such an unusual idea, and the story really got me. One of the best entries I’ve played this jam!
Seeing the asylum through a camera while following Iris is a great perspective, and the blue noise filters and voice acting build a really tense mood. The stepping controls take some getting used to, and the search for the morphine is not easy. Overall the concept, atmosphere and visuals are strong. Well done.
Honestly kind of a mix between a visual novel and a walking simulator. If the setting's your thing, it'll probably click for you, and I did enjoy the walking-backwards mechanic, that's a neat touch. Not totally sure what the breathing mechanic is for though, since save points are spread around pretty generously. Not really my cup of tea, I wandered for a bit, but neither the story nor the narrative really grabbed me. Still gotta give it credit for being unusual and running smoothly. Glad I checked it out!

The voice acting and music are fantastic! I also love the art style, rendering, and HUD design.
