You are a vendor... but you don't have a refrigerator. Guess it's time to go old-fashioned.

Back in ye olden days, keeping food fresh was a difficult task. Join us in this struggle by rearranging and packing food with adjacent ice cubes in the historic ice box, which was popular prior to the invention of the refrigerator.

Food decays if it's not adjacent to ice. Ice melts away naturally, so be quick and resourceful to preserve your meats! Also be careful of company you keep... as in one rotten apple spoils the bunch.

As customers come along, evaluate your freshest food: better frozen food equals more money. Use the money to purchase more ice cubes!

Be sure to freeze food as fast as you can! You're on thin ice since food that isn't in the icebox will rot much faster...

An icebox is such a good choice for Old Tech! Keeping the food cold while the ice itself keeps melting is a neat little puzzle. I like the added chaos of one rotten item spoiling the food around it too.

Loved the graphics for the main menu, the surrounding environment is pretty nice! There were several bugs that didnt let me really play the game. I was able to try some of it through it all. Would love to see a more polished version!

(for your bug assistance, i attempted to start the day and it would immediately end with no capability close it and actually play the game)

Really cool entry! I loved the concept and the overall mood you’ve created here. The controls felt smooth and the gameplay was super engaging for a jam project. Solid work! Left full ratings.
If you have a few minutes, we’d love for you to check out and rate our game about a cat assembling an atom bomb: Meow Bomb! 🐱💣 Cheers!

Wow, this is peak "Old Tech" vibe, so simple yet incredibly fun! My biggest letdown was that after Day 1, the game just sends you back to the main menu and you have to start all over — I really wanted a Day 2 to spend all my millions! I sat there all day, nobody came, my meat spoiled, and ONLY THEN did a customer show up to buy it, RIP😂. One last thing — the hitboxes on the counter feel a bit off, you can only drop meat on the far left side while the rest of the desk feels inactive. Such a fun and playable entry though, totally approved!

I manged to sell 1 meat, rest of the time it felt like they don't want to buy even __FRESH MEAT__.

The music was kind of fun and the vibes I enjoyed, then I bought so much ice it filled the screen even tough I was clicking the MEAT button above the customer. Maybe I did something wrong?
