Theme — Old Tech

Not Yet Developed explores Old Tech through traditional darkroom photo development.
Instead of instantly viewing digital pictures, you work with film, an enlarger, developing trays, and a drying line. This hands-on process forms the core of the game: slowly bringing photographs to life while struggling to trust your own senses.
___
About the Game
Late one night, a friend sends you three rolls of old film to develop.
But as each photograph emerges, your mental condition begins to worsen, and the world around you slowly becomes distorted. Medication offers only temporary relief.
After developing the final photo, you finally return to bed, believing the night is over.
But something unexpected awaits...

Developing the Photos
1. Collect a roll of film downstairs and bring it to the darkroom.
2. Place the film in the enlarger to produce the undeveloped photographs.
3. Process each photograph through the first, second, and third trays, in that order. Wait for each stage to finish before moving on.
4. Hang the finished photographs in chronological order. Look closely at their contents to work out the sequence.
5. Collect the correctly ordered photographs into the carrying box.
6. Carry the box downstairs and interact with the delivery carton to deposit the photographs.
Return the empty carrying box to the darkroom before collecting the next roll of film.
Keep the darkroom door closed and the white light and flashlight off while processing photographs. The red safelight can remain on.

If you have a few minutes, we’d love for you to check out our game Meow Bomb! 🐱💣 The official LD page has our jam release, but I also assembled an alternative updated build with fixes and a working PC: https://naiper.itch.io/meow-bomb-by-naiper
Cheers!
Also, a quick bug report: the stairwell seems to be missing collision, so I guess I get to be Harry Potter here!
@nursultan Thanks for the feedback! The pixel-style models and visual effects in your game are really impressive too! It's a shame that the version you initially uploaded wasn't complete, but what you've made is genuinely amazing!
@kredit Exactly! I took inspiration from that game too! I even used a similar UI layout for the phone, especially the one in the first game.
