Plug and Pray

You wake blind, plugged into something vast and long dead.

Whatever you find, plug it in. Then pray it helps.

How to play

- Click the map to walk (arrow keys work too).
- Orange words and buttons are commands. Lost? Type or click `where`. `help` lists everything.
- Double-click a module to plug it in or take it out. Hover it to read what it does.
- Once you can see: WASD to walk, mouse or trackpad to look (←/→ or Q/E too), click or Space to shoot. Tab gives the cursor back.
- If you fall, you wake again somewhere new.

Desktop browser, sound on. A trackpad is enough.

Made solo in 48 hours for the Ludum Dare 60 Compo, theme "Old Tech".

There's a lot going on but fundamentally game is very simple. You just walk around, look for modules and install them. Attacking happens automatically, you just have to get close to an enemy. Later when you have an eye you can walk around like in FPS and kiting enemies becomes possible.
So idea is that you get a bunch of old tech to give you abilities, upgrade them by installing new ones. There are 4 zones in the game, each has a boss at the end.

Opt-outs: Graphics and Audio, because AI tools did most of the work on the 3D look and the sound.

The same corridor through the first eye, then through a better one:

It might be a tad complex—I can’t quite make out the theme. but it’s an interesting concept; well done!

Wow, this is really complete! It's amazing how much content you did in 48 hours! I preferred staying on the map for most of the game. Is that normal? Did I miss a good eye? Really cool game!

Nice and moody, but a lot to take in. I'm amazed that you did this in 48 hours. I cannot understand how that's even possible. Really nicely done!

There's a lot of depth and plenty of objects, and the graphics are amazing and match the game really well.

I have absolutely no idea what’s going on :) There are so many controls, I’m completely lost. But seriously, great job! I have no clue how you managed to make all of this in just two days. Massive respect!
