Chameleon is not played with the keyboard or mouse. Once your journey begin, all you require is your webcam.
Try to match the color of your webcam input with your current location to move on to the next step.
The sensitivity of the matching is pretty loose, so as not to discourage or frustrate.
THEME - Not-Game This is an exercise in adaptation and ingenuity. You may have to leave your seat to find objects to fufill the requirements of the exercise.
There is no 'win', simply the end of the journey. There is no 'lose', except to lose your patience and leave.
THEME - Time Each location is based on a Timezone. The colors correspond to different parts of the day (with a bit of randomization added). Every hour the sequence shifts, actually making it easier to begin when the gray & white are at the beginning of the path (roughly 10pm PST).
This is an awesome concept! This is the first game I ever played that use the webcam for color and not for movement. This is incredibly smart. I really would have enjoyed something harder. I would have loved to turn my flat upside down to find the good color, to play with the light to try to match etc... Could you make a harder version ? Pleaaaase ? :)
Yes, I wanted to do something a bit different for this one. I was planning on putting in a difficulty setting. I also want to add in a meter so you can see how close you are to "matching" the threshold.
I wish there was a good way to get feedback as to what items were used. I think that'd be pretty funny.
This was actually really fun until I got stuck on a weird brown color that it wouldn't take any match for. Yeah. And I looked real silly showing random junk to the camera. I even found a box of crayons but they were too small. :) thumbs up.
Could you make a harder version ? Pleaaaase ? :)
