You're a Polynesian Swimming courier. You have to deliver stuff to islands, swimming.
Unfortunately you have cut yourself while shaving and the water is full of sharks! The sharks will follow the blood to you, but on an island you are safe.
The island you have to deliver to has a man waving. After delivering the stuff you have to get back to the swimming couriers head office (center island) to get a new delivery.
You have to deliver within the time limit or else delivery is free (the company doesn't like that, if it happens too often you're fired).
The music is streamed audio, so don't try to play it while on a mobile network. The music is live improvisation by-the-way (yes all live!, that is why it is a bit rubbish).
Hope to do some update to give instructions ingame and make an android version.
I have to give some credit to a certain "skyboy" whose routine for collision detection was lying around somewhere om the internet and I used.
updated on 1 april (bug fixes) music now works
EDIT(2 april): - added an Android build (it has AIR and the music embedded so its 15MB). - added an post compo version where you can control the swimmer with mouse
Thank you. Yes, I agree with the controls. I intend to change the controls, where you just have to press where you want to go. better for android as well.
Despite the controls issue (which Keast already pointed out and you commented on) the game is nice. I think the gameplay would profit from a little more depth.
As above, the game is great, but hard due to the controls :)

I liked the game, and the music, nice variation on the Jaws theme... :) Apart from that, all it takes to make this game really great is a more intuitive control scheme! :)
Either I'm stupid or the game doesn't start since the update. I hear the music and see the title screen, but nothing happens... Oh, and do those drums come from a Zoom G1? :)
@Keast You heard it right. The drums and everything else is done on a zoom G3X. The game not working? I've tried it on two computers on two browsers. But maybe it's a Flash version thing or there is still some kind of bug that only sometimes happens when you press Play (there was one, but I thought I fixed it).
