Writing a sim takes a lot more time that I had anticipated, so I consider Marching Band Simulator 2013 to still be a work in progress.
New marchers can added to your marching band's roster by spending currency (to be renamed later). Formations can also be purchased with currency, which will compose your marching band's show.
Finally, playing the show will put your marching band in front of the audience, which will allow you to earn more currency.
Updates: Separate music tracks for each instrument. Only the tracks for the instruments in your band will play in the show.
Future plans: - Marching and play ratings will affect the outcome of your show and amount of currency earned - Marchers will be able to increase their marching and play skills, and even learn to play other instruments - Models for the marchers on the field. *Started - Instrument models on the field - Ability to upgrade instruments for marchers - More formations and current ones fixed (I'll have to crack open my high school geometry book!) - Movements interpolated between formations - Most importantly, MUSIC. The music that is played with be dependent upon the composition of instruments in your band. *First song done. Need to figure out a better way of exporting each instrument track - Volume of instrument track will be dependent upon the number of marchers playing that instrument - Show rating will be based on the composition of instrument, player ratings, and marching ratings. After show a status screen will show number of notes missed and marching mistakes for each band member.
You might not have enough currency to buy the triangle formation. Each time you play a show you'll get +1000 currency to add new members and buy more formations.
