Decided to enter, made this game which maaayyy or may not have been inspired by BIT.TRIP RUNNER.
READ FIRST BEFORE PLAYING:
There's one thing you gotta know about this game: It's hard. There are only 7 levels, but don't let that fool you. The gameplay requires consistent timing, a lot of button mashing and fast reaction times. Whenever you die, you're sent right back to the beginning of the game (the exception being the last level). It's challenging, but still incredibly fun if you're into that type of thing. Average gameplay time is around thirty minutes to an hour.
CONTROLS:
- SPACE: JUMP
- SHIFT: HIGH JUMP
REQUIRES JAVA 1.7 OR HIGHER

My development goals and limitations:
- Game had to make the player go 'Awwwww ^__^'
- Game had to make the player go 'Awwwww :('
- Game had to make the player want to rage quit
- Game had to use only 4 colors (no more, no less!)
- Game had to use only 2 keyboard keys
- Game had to use only 1 mechanic
It was a lot, but still incredibly fun to do.
