Chip Away
The entry was technically finished October 28, but I neither remembered to submit the entry on the Ludum Dare webpage, nor made my $1 before the end of the challenge.
This game represents my first attempt to submit a game for a wider audience and it utilizes Newgrounds' API for scoreboard and medal functionality. I learned early on that most of the people who played the game struggled to learn the core mechanic, and I fault myself for not explaining it well enough in-game.
Despite all those caveats, I feel the game is worth playing, and once you learn how to take proper bites, can be a fun little fast-paced skill game. Feel free to give it a try, and see if you can beat my high score!
