Kubism

A very simple game where you control a black square using the arrow keys.
Red squares spawn from the edges of the screen at random positions and attempt to attack you by flying towards you.
You earn score for every milisecond you manage to stay alive.
If two red squares collide, they will merge into a bigger one and the battlefield zooms out and becomes larger.
At the same time, a few other parameters will change, such as spawn rate of the red squares, movement speed and score multiplier.

Can you manage to beat the official highscore of 103k? :)

The Windows build is 64-bit and is tested on Windows 7 and Windows 8.
The Linux build is 64-bit and will work ootb on Ubuntu 14.04 and later using the bundled launch.sh script, other distros might require installing Qt 5, including QtMultimedia.

For buliding the game from source, QtMixer is required, which can be obtained from here: https://github.com/Znurre/QtMixer

In case you get flickering, try forcing vsync, it should help.
