==== Snowman vs Chesspieces - "The Fight" - Generic Title Edition ====
A mixture of a card game (like Fluxx) and an action game like "the binding of isaac" where you decide how your next room will look like.
How to play:
1. You get a specific amount of cards (number can vary). 2. You have to select a specific amount of cards (number can vary). (select with space) 3. Start the round. All previously selected cards are now in effect. This can be: - Enemies - Weapons - Effects on the enemies, the weapons or you - New goals - Other number of cards to draw/play 4. Survive the round! 5. Repeat
What is the goal? You decide! There are 5 possible goals in the game, which are activated by selecting the corresponding card. But the goal can change every round! (depending on your cards)
Controls:
WSAD - movement arrow keys - shooting space - selecting stuff return - accepting stuff m - mute music n - mute sounds

Windows: just download the Windows exe and run ;)
Linux: Get love-0.9.1 from your repo, download the love file and run it with: $ love svsc.love
From the love2d webiste: > On Mac OSX, a folder or .love file can be dropped onto the Love.app application bundle. On the Mac OSX Terminal (commandline), you can use love like this (assuming it's installed to the Applications directory): open -n -a love "/home/path/to/game"

I actually remember that screenshot showing up on the feed! Cool to see it completed.
This is an awesome concept, and pretty well executed. My one beef is not being able to manipulate the order cards are played in, which is what gives Fluxx its strength. How else is it determined when you play "Play 2" and "Play 1" in a single turn?
Overall, though, love the concept, and it's executed well for the compo.
Well, this was original. I liked the card mechanics, but moving and shooting with the keyboard was quite cumbersome. I still have mixed feelings from this game.
@ketura: Thanks. Yes, the order in which the selected cards are played is random (or not random, but you don't have any influence on it) Due to the lack of time, I didn't implement an ordering mechanic :/
The music was pretty cool. I managed to beat a couple rounds. However, on entering round 3, each time I selected cards, it would just auto win the round. I was fiddling with it, and looked down and saw I was in round 10! Not sure what happened there.
