Dead Branch Quest is the quest of a kid that fights monsters and stuff armed with just a simple branch.
Use the arow keys to move, the X key to swing your branch and the Z key to charge at the enemy (as in running, I see that it may be confusing). P to pause game.
Since you are using a dead branch, you won't be able to do any damage unless you charge head on first! The more the time spen running, the more the damage you will do. And surprisingly, a dead branch can do quite a lot of damage... Try and kill a dude and you will see for yourself. Just be careful of not dying!
It is kinda hard to know if you hit an enemy. I was about to implement it but ran out of time, so no dice. But you can use sounds as a cue.
A tip: there are three sounds you hear when you swing your branch.
A wimpy sound that means you did no damage, a hit sound that means you did some damange, and an explosion sound that means you did a super hit. It's very hard to get a super hit, but it kills the enemy in one shot, if you can pull it out.
There is only one level unfortunately because I run out of time, but hopefully it is fun for the small time you will play it.
