KENTRON

--------------------------

Story:

Kentron is the care taker of the ancient world alignment machine.

(The Ancient world machine being the connection to the LD theme)

Sometimes the evil bug lords will manipulate the machine

and cause the world to fall out of alignment.

Only Kentron can figure out how to fix it!

Instructions:

Find the buttons marked with the infinity symbol.

These platforms will cause the entire row or column

to shift one step. The trick is to press the correct

buttons in the correct order to get the button-tiles

to the four center tiles in the world.

Thereby restoring the world order while avoiding

the evil bugs.

Controls:

W/A/S/D - Forward/Back/Left/Right

K/L - Rotate Left/Right

-----------------------------------------

Tools used:

The graphics were made using:

Make human

SculptGL

Blender (the winner this time in my personal competition: "Which tools will crash the most")

Milkshape

Xnormal

MeshLab

Gimp

Tiled

The engine is my own engine, that's available for all on GitHub: https://github.com/AlexMartinelle/PicoEngine

and it was written using:

Visual Studio 2015

notepad++

Sounds were made using:

bfxr

Audacity

-----------------------------------

So I tried to make something a little more surreal this time :-)

I also tried out a new workflow for the games 3D graphics

which turned out to be a huge mistake.

Every single piece took ages to make and still didn't turn out

they way I intended them to...

I also planned to add proper animations and realized too late

that I really didn't have time to add the feature to my engine...
