Ludum Dare #59compo
CODE RGB
A rather quickly thrown together entry for the compo this time
Starfighter BoRdecG is on a mission into unknown enemy space.
The aliens seem to use some kind of colour based
signalling system to determine friend from foe.
Matching the colour signals is the only way to survive.
Move the ship using either an XBOX compatible controller,
WASD or the cursor keys.
Use B,N,M on the keyboard
or the controller buttons
to combine red, green and blue lights
to avoid losing energy.
Matching the correct colour will also
charge your ship slightly.
Good luck!

if you could do song generated levels i think it would be a hit.
The healing mechanic was a great idea.
I managed to get to level 7, it starts to get quite confusing.
I am humbled
I think I'm missing some Microsoft Visual Redistributable
simple idea that works well
I got some keyboard jam when traversing white sections :/
why so smol? fullscreen option would be nice (maybe i missed the option for it)
Very unique mechanic though! Have you ever played Ikaruga? It's a very different game, but has a similar sort of bullet hell dynamic where you change colors to protect against a certain color of bullets. I was wondering if this was inspired in part by that game. Either way, neat submission, thanks for sharing!
Nice game! The music gives the game an energetic drive from the get-go and sets the tone well. Interesting colour mechanic - and I respect even fitting in some lore to explain it :)
If I'd have one small gripe, it's that on keyboard the left and right hand controls are a little close, maybe using something like I/O/P for the right hand could work better.
Nicely done!
