--OVERVIEW--
This isn't a particularly difficult game, or a particularly involved one. Largely I've made a fun environment to just set up and watch. Treat your hourly income late-game as a score of sorts, change a couple tiles around every couple of minutes, and watch the AI deal with them, try and work out how they work.
--ADMIN--
I am currently working on a xenial build for debian-based linux distributions. Chat me up on IRC (Amras0000) if you want your OS represented.
The game requires an OpenGL 4.3 capable GPU. If there is enough demand I can make a much worse-looking version with many of the shaders stripped out, which should run on most potatoes.
--INSTRUCTIONS--
All instructions should be available as posters on the wall. Controls are WASDQER, 123, and mouseclick.
Things that are poorly explained (will likely fix this in a post-LD version):
you get cash whenever an employee is "working". This is indicated by them having a laptop out and bobbing their head. They will not perform work if they haven't had a meeting or if they are thirsty.
The yellow/brown tiles you can place on the ground are PATHS. employees walk much faster on them.

Not being able to select what you wanted, and having to choose between the pieces was a nice touch, forcing you to make sacrifices in the layout. Once I got into the green, there was little to do though. A way to use the money, or some type of end goal would have been nice.
Overall, It's a nice starting point for a simulator or tycoon game!
On the technical side the graphic are simple yet competent. The performance isn't great though. Fullscreen is pretty much out of the question on my computer.
Turning a profit takes a while, but of course it doesn't really matter in this case. The real-time profit per hour counter is great. Someone goes for a drink of water, the profits plummet!
Lastly, I would like to be able to hire and sack staff as I see fit. At the moment there's a lot of empty tables at Torture & Cookies ltd and Jennifer is getting on my nerves!
Then I just didn't do anything the whole day just to see how much the employees can get within one day: it's something like 935$ with 145$/h at max somewhat around 12:30.
Although I do have a nice office with lots of water coolers and plenty of tables!
This was a cool and fun simulator. Would be great to have a tutorial and maybe some "missions", but that might come in the post-LD version!
