radnet is our attempt to try to simulate one IRC chat room full of bots, leechers, lurkers, trolls and a few other types of users.
Our goal was to build something like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guess_Who%3F with IRC archetypes. We wanted to have the room expand and contract as people shared files (or viruses!) and toxic users spewed their messages into the room.
Your goal is to build a community that is happily downloading warez by kicking people who are toxic and promoting people who contribute positively. By controlling the room you can hopefully get your download rate up faster. Get 10k downloads to win!

Second rule of Radnet: don't download any files.
Managed to win on my third try, after some time it gets too chaotic to follow any conversations, but the game is pretty much won at that point anyway. One problem I found is that the names and controls for banning/promotion are not aligned well, so that I had to count from the top which user I wanted to ban. Perhaps a browser problem, I'm on Firefox.
Pretty cool idea! Gets a bit confusing eventually, but i guess that's realistic xD

With many users the game becomes very chaotic, which is not bad, but the chat always autoscrolls, which makes it very difficult to click on the download links. In addition to that if your desktop is full with files then new files are placed outside the desktop and moves everything up, which can cause the chat window (and other windows) to move outside the screen unable to move them back or close them.
Would like to see this as a full game!
it's fun to read all the posts, and mute or ban users. Unfortunately it becomes too chaotic at some point where it's just impossible to follow up (neither to read or to dowload anything). so some sort of slow down feature would have been cool as I suppose there is much more to the game that I've seen (for example new files passing too fast for me to download and check).
also I nearly completely overlooked the great music as I didn't want to open any of the downloaded files ;)
